The Ninth est le plus récent projet du chef londonien Jun Tanaka. Situé au cœur du quartier très animé de Fitzrovia à Londres, ce restaurant contemporain de 90 places propose des plats de style méditerranéen français, simples mais raffinées, tous conçus pour partager, dans une ambiance chaleureuse et accueillante. Le menu à la carte - disponible pour le dîner et le souper - met l'accent sur les produits saisonniers les plus vivants et fait ressortir les vraies saveurs ce ceux-ci. Les spécialités incluent des viandes et des poissons fumées sur place, des classiques français robustes accentués d'une touche personnelle fraîche au style de Jun et des plats de légumes, soigneusement exécutés, qui sont beaucoup plus que des accompagnements.

Experience a culinary journey with our Chef’s Choice Menu, featuring a selection of six dishes - Crab and Seaweed Tartlets, Flamed Mackerel, Girolle Spaghetti and Hazelnut Pesto, Grilled Monkfish and Octopus Stew, Iberico Pork Pluma and our famous Pain Perdu. A vegetarian tasting menu is also available. Please note that all of our dishes are made to be shared. Your table will be booked for 2.5 hours for parties of up to 2; 2 hours 45 minutes for parties of up to 4.

Firstly the staff were so lovely. We came here with our two children (8 and 11years) to celebrate my husbands birthday. They made us so welcome with just a perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. Then then food- we ordered the 3 course set lunch menu with wine and a couple of sides. Every dish was excellent. Deserving of the Micheline star! The flavours were well balanced and unusual combinations that worked so well. All round a lovely experience.

We came at 7pm a tad early for London Friday night. Not too many seated but that changed quickly and it filled! The staff was friendly and efficient and all helped all tables. A bit slow to get final bill but they was when food was ready at most of their prime seat times. I can not say how outstanding most of the dishes were - and the rest were really really good too! Will be back for sure. The Iberico pork, the potatoes side, the stuffed courgette and the cheesecake were some of most delicious bites EVER!

This is my second time visiting here, except this time I am bringing my newborn! I have told the people in advance that I am having a newborn and they were very nice to place us somewhere a pram is able to fit! The food was as good as usual especially the French toast!

This is one of the restaurants I use for business lunches, which my clients and guests enjoy.. Always very good food, service and wines. Recommend this as a little gem in Fitzrovia.

Had 3 course lunch menu. Starter salad was delicious. Sea bream very good but small portion and additional vegetables essential ( extra cost). Figs with yogurt ice-cream was adequate but not special. Ambience and service excellent. Reasonable value.

Delicious food and excellent service. We lingered long after finishing our meal and were not hurried to leave at all.
