The Ninth est le plus récent projet du chef londonien Jun Tanaka. Situé au cœur du quartier très animé de Fitzrovia à Londres, ce restaurant contemporain de 90 places propose des plats de style méditerranéen français, simples mais raffinées, tous conçus pour partager, dans une ambiance chaleureuse et accueillante. Le menu à la carte - disponible pour le dîner et le souper - met l'accent sur les produits saisonniers les plus vivants et fait ressortir les vraies saveurs ce ceux-ci. Les spécialités incluent des viandes et des poissons fumées sur place, des classiques français robustes accentués d'une touche personnelle fraîche au style de Jun et des plats de légumes, soigneusement exécutés, qui sont beaucoup plus que des accompagnements.

Excellent food and really cool and professional service - we came to celebrate a birthday and loved the experience. Special mention to the waiting staff who totally got into our mood!

The crispy agria potatoes is unforgettable and the French toast is just superb. Thanks for an enjoyable evening:)

Wonderful service from the moment we walked in, to the moment we left the restaurant. All members of staff were attentive, friendly and happy. Food was delicious and well presented. Would definetely recommend and I would definetely return. Wonderful lunch experience. Jules x

Lunch at the Ninth on a Tuesday - nice quiet environment, very personal but not overbearing service, but most of all truly excellent standard of food on the set menu. Highly recomended.

We had the set lunch menu during mid week. The servers were really lovely, made an amendment to the set menu as one of us is vegetarian. The food was very tasty, classic flavours excellent executed - the fig dessert was especially good. On the set menu, it was a bargain!

I got the chefs choice tasting menu and it was the best food I've ever had. The monkfish and octopus stew especially blew my mind.

Exquisite food and good and friendly service. Michelin star after all but without a pomp and snobbery. I enjoyed also very clean bathroom and attention to detail. I can recommend. Perfect for a romantic dinner.

Food delicious. We especially liked the crispy potatoes. Heritage tomato dish also excellent. Very pleased to be offered 500ml carafe of good wine. The right amount for us at lunchtime. Service friendly and well paced. Not too much noise, so we could chat.

The Ninth on Charlotte Street was a joy from start to finish The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable about all the food which was exquisite. The red prawn pasta burst with flavour The whole sea bream was juicy and the skin crispy The pain perdu was creamy and the yoghurt infused with fig juice which accompanied the figs was out of this world tangy
