Booked a table a few weeks ago for last night. When we arrived we were seated, not in the main restaurant but upstairs at a high table that we found very uncomfortable. We asked for an alternative table but was told none were available. Service was very slow, and we had to constantly go and find staff to chase everything. After our main courses we waited an age for the dessert menu, and again we had to chase it. Once we got it and eventually ordered desserts, we were told the oven was off so we couldn't have what we had chosen. If service had been quicker then perhaps we could have had our desired dessert. The food was very good, however the service was very poor. So all in all a bit disappointing.

Great food, reasonably priced. Great choices on both pub menu and Indian menu. Good size meals, cooked fresh served hog!!

Table ready even arrived little earlier. Friendly staff attentive food served piping hot. Not rushed manager came over to chat. Good value .

Lovely dining room with great friendly staff. Lunch menu has several choices and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

I can't fault it .. everyone was happy with their food and the service was excellent .. choices of home cooked or authentic Indian food makes for a wonderful choice .. Great music in the background too ..

Disappointing meal for me due to lack of choice for gluten intolerant diners. My choices were further limited because I do not eat red meat and also have a dairy allergy. There were no GF starters on either the main or the Indian menu. There were a few main courses on the main menu but choice was limited to biryani on the Indian menu. I ordered a chicken biryani but was disappointed to find that it contained only three pieces of chicken. The dish mainly consisted of rice and a few vegetables. Overall, a very disappointing meal and not good value for money.

Went here for family meal were a range of ages from 5-75 all walked away very happy with our home cooked meals and desserts staff very friendly and helpful lovely little pub and restaurant
