My friends and I were celebrating a special birthday and there was a very nice card written for the birthday boy and unfortunately we forgot the card on the table however please know it was greatly appreciated! However the waiter was kind however the service Was extremely extremely slow and there did not seem To be very many people at all there. I had to ask a couple of times we need our waiter please because we had another event to attend! Our reservation was at 12:30 and we didn't walk out until 2:31! The food was ok but my shrimp and grits were not hot for the temperature. My friends got chicken parm which they said was good! My birthday boy had steak and eggs and he said that was good. So overall the experience was just ok, please note I've dined here before and didn't have the same experience as I did today! Before the service was excellent!

This was our first time at The Nesst and we will be back. Everything was great - food (fried green tomatoes, chicken parm, cevapi, crème brûlée), service was top notch and the restaurant was beautiful. We were unfortunately seated next to a closet that they kept entering for extra chairs to setup a large table. That was distracting and took away from the ambiance but it won’t deter us from returning. We will just make sure we’re not next to the closet next time.

The service, atmosphere and food were all great. Music was a little odd (80s rock) for a steakhouse and a tad loud, but not obtrusive. Our server was attentive. The food was really good. The drinks were fabulous. Dessert wasn't anything to write home about and they were pricey. I'd definitely go for dinner again and skip apps and dessert. Shrimp cocktail was 5 (I will say rather large) shrimp on a plate of mixed greens with a little ramekin of cocktail sauce. It looked kind of chintzy. The crab cakes were super tasty, but small. 3 of us took part in the $30 steak dinner, which is a great deal! 6 oz filet, choice of cottage potatoes, mixed veg or mashed potatoes (we all got the cottage potatoes and they were really good!) and then you get soup or salad. All for $30!! Only on Tuesday night though. They also have half price cocktails, so you get a great cocktail for $7-8!!

First time dining at the Nesst. It was wonderful. Food is excellent, waiter was very good and the atmosphere was really nice. Prices were reasonable for this type of experience.

This was our first experience at The Nesst and it won’t be our last. We had a wonderful time. The decor is really cool. So different. Celebrated my spouse’s birthday with two friends. Our friends each ordered the NY strip and both said their steaks were wonderful. My husband had the King schnitzel. Very interesting presentation, and we all had a little chuckle about it. It was very good. The best part was the mushroom cream sauce with orzo that covered it: rich, creamy, and delish. I’d order just that if I could! I had the soy glazed salmon and it was fine. Not the best I’ve had, but a nice sized piece, and well prepared. Our server, Antoinette, was a delight. Funny, helpful, and so personable. Now, some downsides. As is all the rage with upscale restaurants, your entrees come with nothing, which makes this a fairy pricey evening. Salads and “additions” come on the side, and are listed as shareable. We ordered the mashed potatoes and cottage potatoes. The mashed potato portion was adequate for 3 small helpings, not 4, and the cottage potatoes came in a small ramekin, enough for one, and were nothing to write home about. Basically flattened tater tots for $10! Some sides are $10, some are $12. For dessert, we shared a piece of their lemon blueberry cake, which was a nice combination of sweet and citrusy. It got quite noisy after it filled up at 8pm, and they were hosting a party in the other room, so it was lively in there. All in all, it is a very nice place for a special dinner. Highly recommend.

First time dining at the Nesst, we were really impressed with the service. Small town atmosphere with big city flavor. Meal was very tasteful, even added dessert. Would recommend for a nice dinner date.

Incredibly delicious. Went the extra mile to make it special, leaving a birthday card on the table when we arrived. Highly recommend!

Our server Kori was amazing. She went through the menu with us and explained lots of dishes and gave some recommendations! The hummingbird drink was very yummy. The crab cakes were delicious! The sliders were yummy (but there was still some confusion for me as to whether you must sit in the bar to order them). The one with the fried green tomato was outstanding. The fries were also great! My one complaint was the noise level. We sat in the bar because we thought we might want the sliders and weren’t sure if we could order them from dining area. There were two people sitting at the bar one was a patron and the other a server at the rest (May hsve been his night off). They were talking very very loudly and the bar area is not very big. 4 tables and the bar top. They were loud enough I had to ask them to please quiet down and they weren’t very pleased but I was trying to enjoy my dinner. Then when I found out on of them worked there, I was even more frustrated! Overall the food was great but I’d suggest sitting in the dining area and asking if you can order sliders from the bar menu!!
