Le Musket Room ouvre les portes de la culture et de la gastronomie néozélandaise aux new-yorkais du quartier de Nolita. Le chef et propriétaire Matt Lambert, originaire de Nouvelle Zélande, signe une cuisine qui raconte l'évolution culinaire néozélandaise, des traditions importées du vieux monde, en passant par les influences asiatiques jusqu'à l'emploi contemporain de produits locaux de saison. Inspirée par une époque où la Nouvelle-Zélande était une terre d'aventure et de découverte, la cuisine du Musket Room propose une approche moderne de la cuisine traditionnelle du pays tant dans les plats que dans les boissons. Vous pourrez réserver une table dans la salle à manger principale ou côté jardin, et y savourer plats à la carte et menus dégustation. This October, a spooky kitchen mishap leads to Executive Chef Mary Attea and Executive Pastry Chef Camari Mick switching roles in the kitchen. The tasting menu takes on a Caribbean theme, featuring vibrant dishes like Rasta Pasta, crafted with Chef Mick’s pastry finesse. Meanwhile, Chef Mary embraces her newfound sweet side, creating her dream dessert—spiced cereal milk paired with Mmary O's cereal and a rich kinako milk sauce. This thrilling swap promises a week of delicious surprises and inventive cuisine, blending both chefs’ talents in new and unexpected ways. The Freaky Friday menu will be the exclusive offering at Musket Room from October 8th to the 12th at $125 per person. *No dietary restrictions will be accommodated with the menu

The sommelier was fantastic. She picked unique and interesting wines that paired beautifully with each bite. The food too was top notch! Unfortunately, the back room where we ate was very loud.

Outstanding evening and meal. This was perfect. We each had the tasting menu. Wow! What a fun and wonderful experience. Everything was perfect from the opening oyster to finishing with the very creative desert. The flavors were so exciting. Look forward to returning.

One of my favorite meals of all time. Food was outstanding with exceptional flavors. Love the omnivore tasting menu and highly recommend the Wagyu beef addition. Superb wine pairings. Service was also outstanding. Such a memorable meal, highly recommend!

We had our first experience at the Musket Room. Our server was very kind and knowledgeable and he really accommodated us. We started with the Bread and Spreads, all of the 3 delicious. The Salad of Endive was very yummy and reminded me of Spain. The Jamón Ibérico was very tasty however I wouldn’t mind a couple of extra mussels unless we’re served a few but big and meaty. For our entry we’ve got the Salmon wich we though it was a very delicious and a well composed dish, the Wagyu on the other hand it was nice but didn’t really have a wow factor!. For dessert the server recommended a cookie with ice cream. What a disappointment! The cookie was hard and dense impossible to cut with the spoon provided and the ice cream was a really weird combination. I thought this dish wasn’t a good fit on a menu of a Michelin star restaurant. The server did offer if we wanted something else from the dessert menu but we hardly eat it. I felt a lack of communication between the Maitre D (which he kindly congratulated us upon arrival ) and the server, since I expected a candle with our dessert as a little gesture for my couple.

Absolutely incredible evening with my boyfriend here. Vanessa made our dining experience quite pleasurable. Food was one of a kind. Truly delicious. Would go again!

Our server was lovely and helpful - as were the rest of the staff. Atmosphere was quiet and intimate. That said, service was very slow, even with it being a quiet evening and us requesting to remove the “talk time” between courses that they’d mentioned was built in. The food itself was good (the gnocchi, ordered a la carte, made an impression) but the tasting menu is simply not worth the price point. None of the courses are particularly innovative, and half of them (i.e. mackerel, scallop crudo) felt like non-filling filler. I can see how this might be an inviting spot for a business meeting or a third date (or anything else where atmosphere is priority) – but a group looking for the hearty, innovative meal that’s advertised should reserve elsewhere.

This is one of the best, most perfect meals in NYC. The service was impeccable (thank you Jake!), the ambiance cosy and elegant, the wines and cocktails unforgettable… We were blown away by every single dish. Can’t wait to come back in the fall. New favorite restaurant unlocked.

We had a great time! This is a perfect place to enjoy a tasting that is a reasonable price and very accommodating to different diets/allergies. The staff was so kind and helpful and the food was delicious. One of us had carnivore taste and I had vegan and we were both so happy. This is our second time and we will be back!
