The Mulholland. A new neighborhood restaurant at the end of its famed namesake Drive. We are local family-owned and rooted in two generations of hospitality expertise. At The Mulholland, we're all about taking a thoughtful approach to New American cuisine in an environment created for memorable experiences around every plate and glass. Our creative menu crafted by Culinary Director Chef Chris Flint (Eleven Madison Park, NoMad) and Chef de Cuisine Michele Carter (Barbara Lynch Collective) infuses energy into crave-worthy dishes that are artfully crafted with seasonal, local and organic ingredients. With a beverage program to match this ethos, our cocktails are playful spins on the classics and our vibrant wine list is largely organic and off the beaten path. Our waitress was blah, really no personality at all. We were charged a service charge of 4% which I thought was not legal since July 2024. Everything else was really good.

I was super excited to try this new place from the owners of Coquelicot in Los Olivos! My friend and I had an early reservation, which was perfect since we ended up staying for almost 3 hours catching up. The tempura mushrooms were definitely a fave as was the tuna crudo and corn tortellini. We decided to stick with a bunch of appetizers, dining tapas style, and I’m so glad we did as it was the best way to try a number of things from the menu and still leave perfectly satiated. We also had the cucumber and melon which was light and refreshing. The only two dishes that were a miss for both of us were the scallop crudo and the grilled peaches. We were hoping the latter would more sweet than savory, and it’s a good dish, but it simply wasn’t what we were looking for to end our meal. We ended the night with the chocolate mousse, which was sweet with passionfruit touches, and decadent, but in the end, a little too much for both of us and we left about 1/3 to half on the plate. The list of wines by the glass was generous though pricy, while offering something for everyone. Our server, Lily was kind, sweet, knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive, though it definitely got busy, and seemed potentially a little shortstaffed. Both the inside and outdoor spaces are beautiful though, would recommend additional acoustic treatments inside as it can get a bit loud when the place fills up. There were groups of all sizes from 2 to 4 to a larger party of maybe 18 or 20 outside. The bathrooms are in the back outside, which I actually liked, however, I’m curious what the contingency plan is for when we eventually get rain. I would like to believe they’ve already got their tent ordered! I can also see this being a nice festive spot for holiday parties, and get togethers. Similar to other Coquelicot wine member benefits, it would be great if there was a discount, free app, free glass of wine, or the like, offered. Overall, great experience and I look forward to returning!

The service was outstanding no qualms about our waiter they were attentive and friendly and the mixologist knocked it out of the park . The food was just average , the main fish item was hardly edible at that point we were politely trying to finish . Overall for the price point we expected better tasting food . Maybe it was an off night but we kept hoping it would be better

Enjoyed a delicious dinner! We shared our appetizers and entrees because it was too hot to eat a lot of food! We did manage to enjoy a hot fudge Sunday! It’s our favorite place to dine locally! Staff is so nice and attentive! Such a pleasure to have a great restaurant!

We sat on the outdoor patio which was delightful. While waiting to be seated, the inside was noisy. Unfortunately, they ran out of stripped bass, but the chicken dish we had for dinner was very good. We will definitely return again.

Fabulous dining experience. Incredible food - from start to finish. So creative and delicious, and beautifully presented. Our server Brandon was fantastic - super helpful in guiding us through the menu, and he took excellent care of us throughout our visit. Our only minor note is that we sat outside under the pergola for dinner, which was lovely but as darkness fell and the down lights came on we felt they were a bit too bright - somewhat reminiscent of how bars/clubs turn up the lights when it’s time to wind down the evening. 100% personal taste, but I think the outdoor dining experience vibe under the pergola would be enhanced that if they backed down the lighting level by 30% or so. But other than that, it was a home run. We will definitely be back.
