WELCOME TO THE MULE.
We’re not your traditional Mexican place. We just happen to think that tacos are a dish best served fun, with a side of liquor. Welcome to The Mule, where tacos, tequila and bourbon come to play.

Located in one of London's most treasured spaces, we think we’ll be your new favourite lunch spot, your regular late-night haunt and your go-to destination for a good drink. Our bartenders have crafted a bourbon- and tequila-focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.

And don’t forget the food. From Baja wings to Brussels Sprouts tacos, chef Matthew Kershaw’s menu offers an approachable and fresh twist on your favourite flavours from way down south. Our tacos range from classic Mexican to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this. All of our food is 100% gluten-free and we offer a variety of fare that is sure to delight your vegetarian and vegan side.

Love this restaurant! I am celiac and it is so great not to have to worry about gluten. Love the choices and the Margaritas!

First time eating at The Mule. Our server was excellent - helpful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Food was great and the margarita was delicious. I will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed the patio at the Mule. The service was attentive, the drinks were delicious, and the food was outstanding. We'll be back!

This is a real gem in London on Richmond Row. There for a business lunch (reservation made) and I indicated it was to celebrate a colleague's promotion. They brought her a lovely dessert (as a gift) to celebrate this great news (so thoughtful). EVERYTHING is gluten free: delicious; flavourful, great cocktails, and the service is exceptional. It is loud in each of the rooms (and it was sadly too chilly to sit out in the courtyard ... though beautiful).

Thought portion sizes could have been much larger. The nacho cheese appetizer app, so small. Overall food tasted great though.

After a few recent not great visits we were going to take a break. As we love the music and food we thought what the hell. Elle was our server and bartender! She was amazing ! So friendly, accommodating and observant. We tried a new drink riviera girl! It was delicious. A new fav. Tacos were all perfectly done to our requests. Was a bit cold Inside and the music was not in the back room but we had a really good night. Elle made the night. Thank you! This visit will stand out and redeemed some other visits.

Everything was great except for the corn tortillas. They are used for the tacos and we found them tasteless and rubbery. I would love to see The Mule try a different recipe or supplier. Again, everything else was perfect! Service, drinks, ambiance, value. We will continue to patronize The Mule!
