WELCOME TO THE MULE.
We’re not your traditional Mexican place. We just happen to think that tacos are a dish best served fun, with a side of liquor. Welcome to The Mule, where tacos, tequila and bourbon come to party.
Located in one of Hamilton’s most beautiful spaces, we think we’ll be your new favourite lunch spot, your regular late-night haunt and your go-to destination for a good drink. Our bartenders have crafted a bourbon- and tequila-focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.
And don’t forget the food. From baja wings to brisket tacos, our menu offers an approachable and fresh twist on your favourite flavours from way down south. Our tacos range from classic Mexican to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this. All of our food is 100% gluten-free and we offer a variety of fare that is sure to delight your vegetarian and vegan side.

Great ambience, food and drinks. Drinks are overpriced but they are everywhere. We sat in the backroom and it was uncomfortably warm and very loud but considering it was Supercrawl it was not surprising. Overall, always a fun, energetic and tasty menu of tacos to try. The Aye Caramba margarita was a fantastic, stand-out drink. Highly recommend trying it if you like some heat! 🥵

Alex was amazing! He was a fantastic server! The staff was fantastic! The Mule is one of our fav places to spend a sunny day or celebrate an event! Highly recommend it.

The tacos were sloppy and moist. The tortilla fell apart as soon as you picked it up. Delicious, but sloppy.

We had a lovely experience at the mule however, I was a bit disappointed to be asked to finish our reservation because another group was coming in when there were many other tables that were empty. While we understand there are time limits. It would’ve been nice to be offered a spot at the bar or a high top table. otherwise the food was good and the drinks were delicious.
