WELCOME TO THE MULE.

We’re not your traditional Mexican place. We just happen to think that tacos are a dish best served fun, with a side of liquor. Welcome to The Mule, where tacos, tequila and bourbon come to play.

Located in one of Cambridge's most treasured spaces, we think we’ll be your new favourite lunch spot, your regular late-night haunt and your go-to destination for a good drink. Our bartenders have crafted a bourbon- and tequila-focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.

And don’t forget the food. From baja wings to Brussels Sprouts tacos, chef Matthew Kershaw’s menu offers an approachable and fresh twist on your favourite flavours from way down south. Our tacos range from classic Mexican to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this. All of our food is 100% gluten-free and we offer a variety of fare that is sure to delight your vegetarian and vegan side.

It was our first time here. We were celebrating our son's birthday. The birthday card the staff gave him was a very personal touch that was a complete surprise and unexpected. Thanks!!!

10/10! We were seated right away, drinks were fast and delicious, food was fast and delicious, service was great! We ordered three tacos each and then got two more each and that was just enough. They were all superb but we highly recommend the habanero brisket and the brussels sprouts tacos especially!

Tacos and classic margaritas are always my favorite! Delicious, flavourful food, and Emily is an amazing, and engaging batista! She truly made our evening exceptional! Thank you Emily!!!

We enjoyed an appetizer of guacamole and variety of tacos, everything was tasty and we were offered cilantro free which was appreciated. Great service, will be back!

The food was tasty as always, even on a busy NYE. Service was also great. Highly recommend trying this place out.

It was great to have exclusively gluten free options, as a member of our party has celiac disease. We reserved ahead. Unfortunately, they appeared to be understaffed for the number of people at the restaurant and the service was SLOW I think we there for over an hour before someone came to take our food order, thene the further wait for the food. I think the servers were doing their best but they really should have limited the number of tables to match the ability of the staff to provide service that was both friendly and efficient. The servers seemed harried, which took away from our experience and , I'm sure, theirs. Because of the slow service we might have ordered more food, because we didn't really know what the portions would be.

The food was amazing and the service was equally as amazing. We had a table of 12 people and every order was correct and the food was as brought out very quickly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will most definitely be returning.
