We’re an independent, family-owned bar and restaurant located in the heart of Penyffordd, North Wales.
Our menu is focused on modern, seasonal dishes using only the freshest ingredients and local produce. All of our dishes are made to order and we offer dining both inside and outside on our terrace.

My wife and I had the Sunday dinner, veg, roasties, yorkshires all good, but I've never had beef so tough before, I struggled to even cut it. During covid I had the takeaway Sunday dinners in the box and it was lovely, including the meat. They replaced it with gammon and we had a free drink, but I just would have preferred some decent cut of beef.

Service was excellent and perfectly timed. Food was perfect. The Sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, and the flavours in every element of the dish were perfectly balanced, the same can be said for the shepherds pie (from the specials menu). The selection of drinks and food is unlike anywhere else - we will definitely be returning!

We went for Sunday lunch but was surprised that there was lack of choice of traditional Sunday roast dishes. It seems that they must change their menu regularly because the menu for that day was just for that day. Overall the food was good although the vegetables were mostly undercooked - especially the broccoli. When we looked at other diners plates after they had finished it seemed that most returned the broccoli. There was also a table of I think 8 or 10 people who were rather loud with their conversations.

Excellent food choices and well presented, generous portions. Staff enthusiastic and well informed. Other diners were well behaved and pleasant. I would return and would recommend to others.

Gorgeous food. Both had the lamb kofta to start. That was like a main meal and beautiful. I had the curry and my mum the fish pie as mains, both lovely. Good portions, couldn't finish it all. Lovely wine and great service

Food very nice but a touch expensive and service very friendly. Wine overpriced but that seems to be the case everywhere now.
