We are two couples who get together once a month to celebrate friendship while enjoying a great meal together. Our experience at The Mill at Glen Ellen is in our top 3! The food was exquisite and the service was beyond amazing! We’re going back for more of the same without a doubt!!

Such a unique and interesting setting, over a bridge and babbling stream. The lights on the bridge were perfect in the early darkness. Everyone raved about the chicken wings for starters and the strawberry mocktail was delicious! Our main dishes were fresh and wonderful, as well as every person who topped by our table. They had a very busy Friday night but they were all genuinely gracious and welcoming.

We picked this location for dinner based on the rave reviews posted. The warm friendly welcome met expectations based on the experience of other diners. The food was average. We left with a $250 bill for drinks, salad, entrees and one dessert, which is what we would have paid in town. My husband had a nice size pork chop but my salmon was poached and flavorless. Same vegetables on both plates. Not worth the haul for dinner but perhaps a good brick oven pizza if that’s what you’re craving.

Such a pretty setting. The garlic bread is fabulous. Both our entrees were delicious.

We are local and have tried The Mill at Glen Ellen before since they are a welcoming family who make you feel at home. However, the stapled menu is a bit all over the place leaving you wondering what is truly special or their overall identity. The service is hit or miss with a wine list quite limited for a restaurant in the middle of Wine Country. This is also not an inexpensive restaurant or value considering the missed opportunities. I want to like this place but after feeling crummy after our last visit won’t return.

Amazing restaurant and great food. We went on a hot day and sat outside on the beautiful patio at the Mill, surrounded by greenery. Highly recommend it to anyone seeking outstanding and innovative dishes in Sonoma county. Lots of flavorful options for vegetarians and vegans. Sanjeev’s approach to hospitality and customer service is next level! I would go there again.
