Lovely evening spent at The Milbank Arms. The menu is small but the options were all amazing. Tonight’s option was Steak and this was not disappointing, it was delicious and would definitely have it again. Katie & James were great hosts and we will be back soon! 🤩

This was our first meal at The Milbank since it recently reopened. The food was excellent, albeit a limited menu at the moment. The service from Katie was excellent and James, the owner, was on hand to chat and make sure we were fully looked after. The pub has a lovely feel and atmosphere. It is well worth a visit and we will certainly return.

First time back since new management took over and we were not disappointed. Food was exceptional and the whilst the menu is limited, it covers most tastes. They have themed evenings so check website to see what’s available. We went on steak night all of which were cooked just right. The fish dish and the vegetarian options were also very good. It’s good to have a decent pub and restaurant in the area again and we wish them luck with venture, we will be back

We were staying in the village and so our sole reason for choosing The Milbank Arms was ‘walking distance with food’! Unbeknown to us, it was steak night and so we had steak. It was melt-in-the-mouth delicious and came with tasty sides rather than your run-of-the-mill onion rings and peas. The bar was full of locals, which was good to see, but was rather noisy at times. There were other rooms to dine in which might have been less noisy but overall we weren’t that unhappy we needed to move. Service was excellent and I believe the Team have only just taken over from previous management - if they continue as they have begun they won’t go far wrong. We would definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you.

The Milbank Arms has just re-opened under the new ownership of James & Tamsin. We had a superb Sunday lunch; lovely ambiance, excellent quality food and good quality wine. Very best of luck to you both you deserve every success!

I have eaten in many North Yorkshire pubs and restaurants over the years. None better than this new endeavour inspired by a young husband and wife team who love their food, know their wine and beer and who are known a loved by the local community. Terrific experience all round and oozing with potential to get even better.
