El mesero daño mi cena. Se tardó 15 minutos en llegar después que nos sentamos. Ordené una botella de vino de $160 y nunca me cambio las copas por una mejores, cuando llevo la botella le sirvió a todos menos a mi, nunca paso por la mesa a preguntar si necesitabamos algo y nunca volvió a servir vino, en resumen de lo peor su servicio. Era el cumpleaños de mi Esposa y hasta ella se sintió mal por el servicio.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and everything was great. We tried the Sea Bass ceviche, Del Mar Trio enchiladas, Camarones Gobernador tacos. Ended up having the Campechana for dessert. Also had the Paloma de Otoño and frozen margarita and they were delicious.

To start with and to be fair, my wife enjoyed her meal. Since I’m the one who writes the reviews, I’m going to comment from my perspective and that is I was really disappointed. My wife wanted to go there for her bday and I had high expectations because I heard good things. My meal was ok, not bad, just ok. The flavors were average and the portions were not worth what they charged. Maybe if the flavors were outstanding then it would be worth it. We were at the Charles about a month ago and their portions are small but the flavors are amazing. Highly recommend that place. Since this was our first visit, I asked them to pick a nice table for for my wife’s bday (via Open Table) and we were stuck in a small table in the back of the room overlooking the parking lot. The tables are so close together I could barely speak with my wife over the conversation at the table next to us. Our server was very nice and polite but I think he was swamped and wasn’t able to provide the same level of service you receive at places such as Bob’s or Capital Grill. It is certainly a happening place so if that is what is important you should give it a try, but if you’re looking for great food and great service you may want to pass. Just my opinion.

The Mexican is beautiful inside and out. I went to dinner with my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it. Our server for that night made the experience even better so I gladly want to thank him , he was average height and short height. I want to thank him and the Mexican for a great night.

We went early due to full reservations. The service was good, as the room filled up the noise level increased quite a bit. I have been to The Mexican on another occasion, the food and service were both great. This time the food was okay, my food was luke warm when it arrived at the table. They served us very quickly, I suppose hoping to turn the table quickly. I will return.

The most up-scale Mexican restaurant I have ever experienced. This is an outstanding place in terms of the main courses. The appetizers selected were just okay, but that could have simply just been our selection. The restaurant was very noisy for an 8:45 seating on a Thursday evening but, we originally booked to sit on the patio, but had to push our reservation back by an hour which meant we had to sit in the main dining area. The patio may actually be a bit quieter, but we did not experience that. Our whole party enjoyed the cocktails and main courses. Overall, this was a good experience and I would try it again. The enchilada trio is incredible and I highly recommend!

Celebrated birthday there, and it was by far the highlight of the day. From the valet greeting, to the hostess everyone was so friendly & pleasant. The appetizer blew my mind and everything after that just got better. There was a confusion on my drink, but immediately corrected. The staff is knowledgeable, professional & best of all happy to be there!!
