Offrant une vue sur Central Park, le Members Dining Room est un restaurant raffiné réservé exclusivement aux membres du Metropolitan Museum of Art. Installé au 4e étage du musée, le Members Dining Room propose une cuisine américaine contemporaine dans un cadre élégant, mettant l'accent sur les fruits de mer ainsi que les ingrédients locaux de saison. Chaque mois, le chef exécutif Fred Sabo prépare un menu de dégustation de 4 plats mettant en valeur une cuisine nationale ou internationale différente. Outre la grande carte des vins, le Members Dining Room dispose d'une liste de vins de réserve et de dégustation pour accompagner au mieux votre repas. Si vous souhaitez organiser des événements en famille, entre amis ou entre collègues, 4 salles sont mises à votre disposition à la location. Le Members Dining Room est exclusivement réservé aux membres du musée. THe service was poor. A very surly receptionist when I asked if we could have a table for 2 instead of the one for 4 she led us to: "No, that was reserved months ago." Can I reserve the next time I call. No. Very difficult to find waiters to service us throughout the meal. THe food was delicious but the service was so poor. It took us 5-10 minutes to get a bill and then another 5 minutes to get our credit cards back. I would not go back too soon--until I forget this experience.

Prices have risen! And I miss the cheese soufflé (my absolute favorite). But the service was flawless.

Lovely seasonal cuisine. Beautiful view of the park. Nice and attentive staff. Quiet. A blessing on the world of loud restaurants.

The food, the service, and the quiet ambiance are excellent. The serving sizes are on the small side. The prices are high. Just know before you go, since which factors are more important is an individual choice. For us, is was a good choice, although it won't be a frequent one.

A civilized, gracious dining experience with a beautiful view for those lucky enough to be seated at a window table. Lovely,varied lunch menu and mostly attentive service. The crowd varies in that sometimes there are many children- perhaps it should be an adults only venue since there are so many other casual dining options at the Museum.

beautiful elegant room overlooking Central Park and The Obelisk. The food is delicious but the service is abysmal. There seems to be one server for half the dining room which is quite large. There is one server barely speaking English who appears occasionally to clear some plates which pile up. They neglect to give share plates. Don't know why they don't have enough service but they really need to hire more people. For the prices they charge...which is high....they need better service.

The ambience was not great. Felt like a cafeteria. Food was not great. Chx was good but very bland. The green pea soup was above average. Very expensive for not liking it. $100 a person. Wanted it to be great. It was not. Regret going there.

The Met dining room was a delightful experience. The service was quick and friendly and the food excellent. Interesting choices with fish vegetables and even a vegan option. 3 of us all thought it was was quite nice
