At The Merry Fiddlers we offer meals of excellent quality and invite you to try our delicious food.

The key to our success is simple: providing quality, consistent food that taste great every single time. We pride ourselves on serving the finest dishes in Epping. Using classic French and English techniques with a modern twist. We serve à la carte menu Wednesday - Saturday and are sure we can WOW even the finest of pallets.

Always stock a vast array of drinks from real ales to cocktails, fresh Coffee & more.

We boast Epping’s largest beer garden and have a great space for the kids to play.

We are available for part and full hire for all events.

Muddy boots and dogs are welcome in our bar area.

Family friendly, beautiful place with wonderful friendly very efficient staff. Sunday lunch was delicious and large portions.

Staff were very friendly and helpful with whatever we asked for. Food was delicious which was afternoon tea. The sandwiches were perfect and the scones, jam and cream very tasty. Also the pastries were very nice. We had as much tea as we wanted and the restaurant was very nicely decorated. My friend had a delicious hot chocolate drink which one of the staff made.

The food we had was perfect, amazing roast dinners and sides. The only confusion was that on arrival for a roast, we were told the minimum order was a 2 course set menu for £46 a head. We were there with our toddler for a simple Sunday roast, the set menu would have cost us circa. £130 with service and drinks which is far more than the casual Sunday roast we headed out for. I appreciate it was Mothers Day but we were in and our in 1 hour and long meals are tricky with a restless 2 year old that's all. Anyway, once the initial confusion was over, the waitress did say they could honour my booking considering i hadn't been told it was a set menu. It was a mild blip before an otherwise brilliant roast out. Worth noting too, if given an option because of their accomodating nature i would have left a bigger tip but the service had already been added onto the bill. Would def visit again, on a normal non-event menu day

Very good meal with attentive staff, despite a few large tables sitting before us. A great local find and already booked again to return
