Dine in the AA 2 Rosette Linen Fold Panelled Restaurant, where you can enjoy the ambience of the large restaurant, the cosiness of The Dr Syn Dining Room or the privacy of the Boardroom for your evening meal, lunch and breakfast.

Head Chef Drew King is focused on using quality, seasonal, local ingredients and cooking them perfectly. He has a broad range of experience having worked in Michelin Star restaurants. and is able to adapt to the requirements of the guest and the occasion.

Please note dogs are not allowed in the Restaurant. Bookings are for the Restaurant only. We do not reserve for The Bar and outside seating areas.

Really enjoyed an excellent lunch. Food was superb and well presented. The staff were friendly, but very professional. The ambience is very relaxing. Will definitely eat there again. Thank you.

A birthday treat which was beyond expectations. Food was extremely good and very well presented. However, the service by a relatively young team was exceptional, great attention to detail, very knowledgeable, helpful but with just right level of presence. Meaning far from overbearing but there when needed, very clever. The price was below the level expected for a delicious experience. All in all a great evening out which went beyond what we envisaged. Highly recommended.

Dinner was amazing! Beautifully presented and delicious. Excellent choice of wines and table service. Very beautiful and atmospheric dining room.

We had a table booked in advance so we made our way to the restaurant entrance, we stood for a while and several staff walked past us but did not say hello or acknowledge us. I walked over to the reception area to ask staff if we were waiting in the right place for our reservation, a chap confirmed we should stand near the door and wait. We stood waiting again and after staff walked past us again without speaking i stopped someone and asked if we could be taken to our table. The young lad pointed to the till area of the dining room and told us to stand and wait there. My instinct was to leave and find somewhere else to eat, i decided to stay because i had researched the building and i was keen to soak up the atmosphere. We ate. During the meal we could hear the staff complaining about the lack of staff, organisation by management etc. the serving staff seemed miserable as a team, one young man was very chatty and made jokes about the bad weather being his fault, he was charming. I can see by previous feedback that the person responding does not like anything other than glowing reviews. I was hesitant in leaving any feedback but then an email arrives asking for my thoughts …. Cheer your staff up, play some background music, greet your guests and make them feel welcome. Try not to rely on the age of the building to carry the business, your staff are the key, look after them. This place could be extraordinary with some staff welfare and strong leadership, an obvious lack of moral from the front door onwards. All the best im sure i will now be chastised for not appreciating how old the building is blah blah fingers in ears etc 😎

Very attentive service and a tasty sunday lunch, very well executed. Crab/mackerel starter was particularly tasty. Big portions and lovely homemade bread/butter. Couldn't fit in pud!

Beautifully presented, attention to detail appreciated, fabulous food .Bread with flavoured butter, amuse bouche and petit fours included. Cheese served as it should be not straight from the fridge, good choice of menus. Service was excellent .
