All our food is extremely fresh. “From the sea to the table” is how we like to put it. Happy hour Monday-Sunday from 4:30 pm - 6 pm. $1.50 oysters & clams, drink specials and Mermaid favorites like our fish tacos, shrimp sliders and more. We had a great experience at The Mermaid Inn, our first dinner with them. The cold lobster special was just delicious, with a lemony smooth topping with fish roe. The lobster was cooked just right. Clam chowder had depth of flavor and a lot of meat. We also ordered beet salad, spirals in a light dressing, and lobster mac and cheese which was just delicious, again, with a lot of lobster, cooked perfectly. We definitely will come back. The service was great and I felt for the first time in a long while I could just relax and all would be well. It was lovely!

This is an old favorite. The fish is always fresh and delicious. The dining room ambiance is very nice.

We had a great meal for an important birthday , starting off with happy hour on a Saturday! I had the roasted salmon with corn which was perfect, and appreciated that I ordered rare and that's what I got. The waiter (Henry) and hosts (Kyle & Melanie) as well as the bus boys were super friendly, the noise level very comfortable, the ambiance in the main room great. Henry brought mousse over for the birthday girl. We were all really impressed - I'm excited to hear about the UWS, but can you please open in Tribeca!

Energetic is a euphemism for the sound level. The room is far too noisy, unfortch. The cocktails are good. The Chatham Cod was very good. The raw clams didn’t have a great taste last night, I’m afraid.. There was an aroma in the air from one of the neighboring tables that smelled AMAZING. Overall it’s still a great restaurant to have in the neighborhood.
