Made a reservation at The Mercantile Chophouse in King. Kelsey, our waitress, was amazing and made the experience really great. She knew her stuff! Everything she recommended was delicious! Cozy atmosphere too.🥰 Recommend!

Quality of food was excellent. Portions were perfect. The King Colada was the best I’ve ever had. Baileys Chocolate crème Brûlée was amazing.

Food was just OK! We had early reservations & they tried to seat us in a booth with sunlight directly in my eyes-I requested a different table & resistance from the hostess but was moved -server was on point but again nothing special about the food!

Our first visit was on Sunday 1/5/25 and it was amazing! Everyone there was very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was Isabell and she was fantastic! This is the first restaurant in 16 years with my wife that she actually finished every bite of food and loved it! It was our first time there but definitely not the last! Anyone that wants the absolute best steak in the area should try it.

The food and service were excellent! It's probably one of the best steaks I have ever had in a long time. Definitely recommend! We have already made our next reservation.

Adam Andrews has again created another wonderful culinary experience in the Triad, but this time in his small hometown of King NC. Every steak we tried was delicious and cooked to perfection. As a starter, we shared the pasta entree with beef tenderloin. It had an amazing unforgettable sauce on it. The drinks were delicious. This is definitely a total gem of fine dining in a small town. We will be returning soon.

The quality of our food was fantastic! The atmosphere is cozy and classy. We will definitely add this to our list of favorite places to dine.

They are new and working through a few things but one of the very best culinary experiences I’ve had in years. Great cut of beef, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Wonderful staff that kept the table bussed and glasses full. Sides were amazing and the bar’s creations had my table-mates ordering one drink after the next. We will be going back.

It was a very pleasurable experience. King was long overdo for a restaurant of this caliber. Highly recommend. You can tell the team is excited to be there and eager to please. Steak was great as were the cocktails. We will be back!
