The Mendip Inn is an exciting country pub and coaching rooms concept at the foot of the Mendip Hills, near Glastonbury, owned and run by Michael Porter.

Styled by the talented team behind Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen restaurant, The Mendip Inn takes the concept of a great British Pub and adds an exciting, contemporary style of its own, to the food and design, without losing that sense of welcome you receive at the very best pubs. First class service is at the heart of all that we do.

The Mendip Inn offers a fantastic, modern and fresh à la carte menu, seven days a week. We have a weekly specials menu, highlighting local, seasonal produce, cooked to express the flavours of the ingredients, with a twist on exceptional pub recipes. We run two specials offers Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) on our lunch menu which are 2 for £20 on our Ciabattas and 2 for £25 on our Mains and Sundays are, of course, for fabulous traditional roasts.

Excellent service, friendly waitresses, superb food...hot, well presented and tasty. Good value. Plenty of car parking space. A very enjoyable lunch time experience. Thank you.

A beautiful evening meal for two. We had a fantastic beef burger and steak. Very well cooked, hot, a great portion size. Lovely service. Great atmosphere.

We had such a lovely family lunch here with our baby, dog and another family with a baby and a dog too! We sat outside and it was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday, but the food and atmosphere was great - chicken burgers, sea bass special and a chicken caesar salad. A great family and dog-friendly pub! Thanks for a lovely meal.

Good meal mid week with friends. Reasonable choice on the menu. Service good, quite quiet so lacked a little atmosphere. Did feel as the last ones in the bar that we had to go, so we paid up and left within 2 hours of arriving, retreating to our house near by to continue socialising. Would recommend and will go again.

We opted for the steak. Beautifully cooked to medium rare and a great quality sirloin steak. It came with delicious chips, onion rings, cooked mushroom and tomato, plus a salad garnish. I added the peppercorn sauce as well. We had a very nice glass of Shiraz to accompany our meal, which was lovely and smooth. The service was as ever, very friendy, but on this occasion a little slow, which with no prompting they apologised for. A lovely evening and well done The Mendip Inn.
