    Party of 7 with three teenagers celebrating summer birthdays. It was a meh experience and we have been to MP many times. My husband’s mixed drink was bad and the food is what it is - my kids love it and that is why we go. The service is just so tediously slow every time. Food comes out and server never returns to the table. With cheese course, so much time passed between dropping off initial course that cheese was burning to pot. Dropped off entrees and we needed salt, pepper, ketchup and another knife. It was at least 15 minutes before she returned. I found the hostess and asked her to send waitress over. We were there 2.5 hours and I feel like I spend 45 minutes of that time hunting down the server - for condiments, extra items (that they represent are free and available to refill), a box, the check. I planned to leave only 15% gratuity but MP added automatically 20% and then encouraged me to tip on top of that. I am A generous tipper and I was super annoyed. Maybe that is why service was not good?

    Great Service with special touches from John! Enjoyed fresh new drinks from the bar and highly recommend the summer drinks. This is such a treat and if you are looking for a special place you need to go and experience a special evening out!!

    I LOVE this restaurant. I particularly like the Wisconsin cheese fondue and the very reasonable salads. My husband and I ordered the cheese fondue and also a meat fondue. The cheese fondue came first and we devoured it -- so many delicious breads and vegetables for dipping. Then after we ate the very generous portions of the delicious salads we realized that we just couldn't eat another bite. Since the meat portion hadn't been brought to the table we asked if we could forego that dish IF it hadn't already been prepared. We explained that we didn't want to cause them any trouble if it had been prepared in the kitchen. They couldn't have been more accommodating and just cancelled the order and we left happy and full, having had just a DELICIOUS dinner of cheese fondue. We were both impressed at the manner in which they accommodated us. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

    Our server Steve was amazing! Super attentive, knowledgeable and funny! The manager, Norm, was very friendly and made some great recommendations! Best espresso martini made by Tim at the bar!

    We love the brunch! At our server’s suggestion we tried the chicken and waffles and boy was he right! Very tasty! John was a fantastic server. Also, we were treated to a complimentary treat to thank us for supporting this Melting Pot location! We truly appreciated that kind touch.
