    We had a lovely time at the Medliz for a birthday celebration. Food was delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. Service was great and the waiter really made the kids feel involved. The birthday dessert and song were a lovely surprise as well!

    We went to Meldiz for Father's Day and it was a great experience. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is great. The hot starter platter is great value for money and the main dishes are very good. We had no room for dessert, except for our teenager who ordered the baklava, which look amazing. It is definitely worth a visit.

    Pleasantly surprised when we walked in by the decor & ambiance. From the outset the service was excellent. The food & drinks were all great. Definitely a pleasant surprise for Basingstoke. Will definitely be back.

    Excellent service from the moment we got in the door, lovely table by the window, attentive service throughout meal, nice leisurely pace to dining experience which was just what we were after, we arrived early evening and restaurant was quiet, several bookings but nice atmosphere, as the evening progressed more people arrived and it got a bit louder, but in no way unpleasant. The food was incredible especially the prawn starter, and the chicken casserole, the mixed shish was divine too, can’t go wrong with any items on the menu we had a fabulous time, wonderful service, great atmosphere in the restaurant too. Overall one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time, highly recommend.

    We have not had such wonderful Turkish cuisine outside of Turkey. We had a selection of starters that were amazing, including stuffed grape leaves, baba ganoush, hummus, prawns and olives. We also had a main dish each, a chicken kebab and lamb moussaka. Both were delicious. For dessert we shared a baklava. So happy to discover this wonderful place. We will now be regulars!!

    Quality of food was really good, lots of options on the menu and especially good for vegetarians and vegan. Staff were very accommodating and attentive. It was on the pricier side for some of the meat options for just 1 skewer for the shish but the meat was lovely and excellently cooked.
