   Lovely food and the staff are friendly and attentive. The quiz night is a brilliant evening out.

   Over all was ok nothing special very good service however the place is a bit dated

   The atmosphere was relaxing and service was friendly. The roast chicken was delicious. However the roast potatoes were a little hard but all in all really enjoyable experience

   I eat here often and the food is excellent - but the service is poor unless you go when it's literally empty. I don't think I would go for dinner again as I've been twice in the past 4 weeks and on both occasions the service was poor. On this occasion I booked a table for dinner in the dining room and we sat unattended for 30 mins with no one approaching to take our order or apologise for the wait. A table who had been seated were also still waiting - the staff were walking back and forth past us making no eye contact and unconcerned that we'd been waiting a long time. I o nly saw food going out to customers around the bar. At this point we decided we were unlikely to get served and walked out and popped up to the Railway Tavern where we were very well looked after. I will probably stick to midweek lunches from now as I like the food .

   Love this place, great food. The 2 meals and a bottle of wine for £55 on Monday-Wednesday is a nice deal and the atmosphere inside is super cozy

   Did not dine here. Booking was for drinks and rugby viewing only but review won’t omit these.

   I had remembered coming here maybe 5 years ago and having an incredible roast. Sadly not now. I don’t think any of the meats roasts we had on a table of 5 had been seasoned. The roast potatoes were not roasted - obviously pre prepared and sat left to be reheated. No stuffkng, gravy almost ditch water Bisto. Red cabbage not braised properly- It should be unctuous - cooked with red onion and apple. Not just chucked into a vat with vegetables stock. On the service side we waited over an hour for this food. Staff seldom to be seen. Seemed harassed and stressed. We spent £200 and very very much regret it.

    A mixed bag …. It was a little chilly inside ( freezing outside ) Long long wait … for starters and even longer for mains ! But the service was good and apologetic and attentive! Starters flat bread with beetroot hummus was really nice - warm bread and tasty ! The seabass tasted a little bit weird. But the chorizo and Spinach was delicious . The burger was ok …but not great. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious !
