    Food was ok with some items better than others. Our waiter was terrible. Not friendly and continuously stretched in from of us instead of walking around the table to serve, remove plates etc, waited a long time for drinks which didn’t come until end of our appetizers. The server left early and never even said he was leaving. Restaurant could be noisy especially in outside patio/ porch. Other staff were actually nicer and more friendly and polite.

    Excellent Meal!!! Martinsville Tavern never disappoints. This visit, my husband enjoyed his Salmon and I loved the Short Rib Ravioli. Both dishes were superb. Lovely greeting, we felt most welcome. Service was excellent.

    We’ve been here a few times and the food is always quite good. I had the chicken milanese and it’s my new favorite. We also sampled the meatballs and they were also delicious.

    Food was amazing. Everything delicious. Service was first class. Only issue is we were seated next to a party of 10 who were celebrating a birthday and anniversary. Drinks were flowing, which is fine, but we couldn’t hear the conversation at our table due to the noise level at their table. In retrospect we should have asked to be moved. Our bad. But the restaurant should never have put anyone near that group. Their bad.
