Lovely meal, great value. Nice surroundings would definitely recommend....We'll be returning soon...best meal we've had out in a while.

Needs to work out how to keep pub and restaurant customers happy and compatible. This wasn’t a restaurant experience but we paid restaurant prices for above average pub food. Our evening which was to celebrate my wife’s birthday and daughter’s first year at university, was a let down as the group of blokes in the pub loudly laughed and joked about Jimmy Saville and Jeffrey Epstein. Food was pretty good even though my daughter’s steak was medium after she’d specifically asked for rare but she still ate it and said it was good. Service was very attentive, waitress showed sincere concern and care. Really annoyed that they automatically add 12.5% service charge even for a small group of four! I would have paid that but would rather choose myself, this isn’t London!

A group of eight of us visited the Marquis of Granby for Sunday lunch. While we had dined here before, this was our first Sunday lunchtime experience, and it did not disappoint. The service was lovely, and the food was of a very high standard with a wide variety of choices. It continues to be a favorite among our family and friends.

The good was great! Service was in a hurry, That’s a pitty because you want to enjoy a great meal and lovely wine.

Food fantastic ( we are regulars from the Tiger Stouting ) Staff lovely , service excellent. Noise levels in the bar so loud , we were shouting to each other over the table to have a chat . Awful experience. Huge party filled the bar and just made it impossible for the dinners to enjoy their meal and chat. On a Saturday night you would be full anyway so why take a large party booking , plus live band !
