The Marquee Moon - a new restaurant, cocktail & HiFi bar from the team behind The Cause & All My Friends.

Set over 2 floors, expect an eclectic sharing menu based on a twist of contemporary pub classics - with an emphasis on East Asian flavours, complemented by a refined and inventive cocktail offering.

Later in the evening, focus will turn to the hi fi sound system manned by an array of selectors, programmed by The Cause, playing esoteric selections through ‘til 3am!

Awful the food came out 10 mins apart. That food was cold and over cooked and mine came out cold and SAD. So disappointing as a few weeks ago was the total opposite . Plate was cold, meat was not cooked and raw (had the chicken ) the oven was opened constantly (in my view) not letting meat cook. I sent that back And asked for pork and again that arrived cold and on a small plate which I thought the kitchen staff thought it was funny as I’d sent my food back. That again was sloppy and cold and sent that back and choose not to eat anything. I was told that it was because no larger plates were available (absolute rubbish) plate was changed immediately but kitchen staff found it humorous. Rude tbh ….3 rd time eating here and I defiantly will not again. Floor staff are amazing and they get 10stars but today the food was crap. .

Great spot for an intimate dinner. Portions are way too big and you have to go home to finish them off.

Was a bit worried after reading the reviews on here that the vibe might be off for a roast. Was so lovely though. Roast was so tasty!

food was nice, some dishes were questionable. service seemed a bit disorganised but I suppose as to be expected with opening so recently? Table layout was pretty terrible, everyone was so close and kept knocking into each other. noise level was pretty much that of a super crowded pub, had to shout to talk.

The food was great! The servers were super friendly and kind. Main issue was that we had to shout so that we could hear each other which meant we couldn’t wait to leave. Some acoustic panels in the ceiling would make this place x5000 better.

We made a date-night booking for ‘The Pub – Dining’ (with a preference for ‘Standard’ vs ‘Bar’ or ‘Counter’). On arrival it seemed the host wasn’t sure where to seat us and ended up making room for us at the bar. That may have been fine, but this was next to the service area and it was busy. People shouting their order over your shoulder and bumping into you with their drinks is not a great place to dine. We mentioned this and were swiftly moved to a counter by the inactive DJ booth. Much better! Two minor annoyances on the seating was that these were bar stools with any back support. This got uncomfortable after a while. There were also no hooks, so we were forced to sit on our jackets and have other belongings on our laps. Ok, ok, how about the food?? We had the Dan Dan Noodles and Rendang Pie. Both were full of flavour. The noodles however seemed to be broken or cut short making it very difficult to eat with the provided spoons, knives and forks. I don’t think they’ve actually tried this experience out for themselves. How about the ambience? We were there on a Friday night and the atmosphere was banging. That’s what we love about the place. But the dining experience felt like an afterthought. Maybe we’ll dine here at a quieter time next time.

I booked for a party of 10 people for my boyfriend's birthday. I arrived and was barely greeted by the person at front of house who told me to go downstairs and someone would show me to my table. We went downstairs where I struggled to find anyone that would help me so we looked around the room for our table and found a card saying that I had a party of 2 people and was put round a small table with bar stools.
