Just love this place. The menu is always fresh and interesting. Severs have all been there long enough to accurately describe nightly selections. Really nice neighborhood bistro

The Marlowe doesn't seem to misstep ever. Our party of 4 spent a delightful evening under the watchful care of our server, Mike. The food was equal to (if not better)than what we enjoyed during our previous visit. Just when things couldn't get better..it did! Dessert arrived! Dear Reader, indulge yourself. Eat at The Marlowe.

I've been reading about the Marlowe for quite a while. We enjoyed the wide range of dishes that were reasonably priced. It did take us a while to find the restaurant. We understand a sign is on the way.

The food, wine, and cocktails are great. But the best thing about The Marlowe is the atmosphere. It’s cozy but elegant with brick walls and wooden ceilings. It just exudes warmth and comfort. Staff is friendly, welcoming, helpful and efficient.

A very pleasant experience! Sadly, I always seem to be sat looking at a kitchen door though! Waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The menu and the wine list was a welcome surprise; to say the least. We will be back to The Marlowe!!

A dinner gathering between me and my wife with another couple. Service was on point. Good recommendations. Everyone had something different. Seafood to duck to ribeye to filet. All flavorful and cooked to desired temps. Very good cocktails pre-dinner. The price point for what we ordered was spot on with the value. Yes we paid more than a chain restaurant but what we far greater quality and flavor than a chain. Great evening. Thank you Marlowe.

I already forgot my servers name from last night but she was really sweet. We went out to have a birthday meal and she brought me a candle on my dessert. So sweet. The steak was an interesting texture. Not seared yet. cooked and seasoned to perfection. The asparagus was crunchy and salted well, and the potatoes had some bacon and onion on them. Caramelized, of course. Delicious and filling. Very large portion I took half home. The best dish of the night definitely belonged to my husband though. WOW. The Crab cakes are INSANE good. Like, better than all the actual listed seafood places in Knoxville, good. a MUST try. The wine list is better also, than most places you'll find in Knoxville.

I do not think I could possibly express how amazing the entire evening was. From the ambience of the Reaturant (which there was no sign anywhere to let us know we arrived). We felt right off we found a secret gem! The Reaturant is not large, which means leads to no over crowding. It felt intimate with the size, lighting, and beautiful pillows in the bench seating. Our servers were knowledgeable and helped us decide from the amazing menu. Everything from the best French onion soup I have ever eaten to the special, pork belly with pine nuts laid on delicious mashed potato’s. My husband had tender crab cakes with jalapeño grits. Which he ate every bite. This will absolutely not be the last time we treat ourselves to this Magnificent dining treasure.

A cosmopolitan feel in the restaurant. Quiet so conversation is pleasant and easy. Wait staff very friendly and efficient. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. A truly lovely evening.

Service at The Marlowe began when I made the reservations for my husband’s birthday and our party of 6. I requested a certain table and that wish was granted. Our server did not rush our meal at all. The appetizers (burrata and potato croquets were delicious. We all ordered a different entree and everyone was very pleased with the preparation and taste. We highly recommend The Marlowe.
