We went for lunch on the 31st December 2018. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Menu was mainly based on what I consider standard English food. We had 3 courses all of which were very tasty and presented in an attractive manner. The new owners also have various theme nights which we have yet to sample. Would recommend this to anyone looking for excellent food presented in a good pub atmosphere.

For lunch 2 of us had starters and to be fair they were good. Problem was with the main course, I had the pork which was very good, everyone else had the beef which was very chewy and tough, disappointing., also the portion of vegetables for all of us was a bit on the small side. I fancied cheese board for end of meal course but at nearly £12 decided that it was too pricey.
