Because it was Christmas, the restaurant was closed and we ate upstairs in the bar. The food was wonderful: we had shrimp quesadillas, prime rib, crudités platter, and potstickers appetizers. The server was friendly and helpful. Lovely space!

We went for Christmas dinner. We used to go for their buffet meals at different holidays like Thanksgiving, Easter and Mother’s Day and we loved it. We really enjoyed the meal there today and hope they continue to offer it, or maybe return to the buffet offering. Maybe a bit more advertising would help them have a bigger number of folks. Our waitress was so nice and took great care of us. The food was excellent, and the restaurant is a nice place to have a meal. Try it, if you haven’t.

Breakfast at the JB Duke Marketplace is top notch. They have a buffet-type option that includes a full omelet bar and lots of other delicious foods, but if you can't find something that interests you there, they also have a menu you can order off of. Service is typically excellent. Parking can be a hassle, as your only option is a paid parking garage adjacent to the hotel, but if you stop by the front desk after your meal, they will give you a parking validation ticket

What took me so long? I've been wanting to try The Marketplace for a while. I was not expecting such a lovely venue! Staff was attentive, food was wonderful, and that cappuccino made my day. Thank you!

We made reservations for the restaurant, which apparently was closed when we got there with no explanation. So we had to eat dinner at the hotel lounge.
