What a wonderful first time experience ‼️ We had the greatest server who was very helpful and attentive😃 We began with a wedge salad and then had scallops and cod with clams. Soooo delicious ‼️ Coffee and dessert-signature chocolate chip cookies and strawberry rhubarb cobbler….yummy‼️ Will definitely return for many more meals‼️❤️

Enjoyed eating at the Marker in Glen Cove! What a beautiful renovated restaurant! My butternut squash soup was delicious and perfect for the weather - the strawberry rhubarb, was a nice way to end the meal !! Service was attentive- can’t wait to come back

It’s so great to having a good restaurant at this location. The food and service were excellent. Although they have a great selection on the menu, I decided to order off the menu. There was no hesitation in making what I wanted and it was excellent!!! Looking forward to going back!!!

This was our second time at The Marker...returning for a second go round because the food was delicious...hoping they had improved the service and understanding that we might have to deal with a poorly trained and understaffed team. Well- the food is still delicious and the service still terrible. Started with the water- ordered "still" - got sparkling (at this point you don't want to lose the attention of the wait staff - so we order drinks and appetizers while they are at the table. Then- we ask for bread- never get it, have to ask for napkins and utensils, get soup served- have to wait 5 mins for a spoon- and the soup is now tepid- at best- but still very tasty. Imagine how good it would be when eaten hot! It is now 2 hours in- no check in to see if we want a second drink. Ordered a water melon salad- with shrimp- arrived- no shrimp. All other orders arrived correctly- and were VERY GOOD. The two times we were there- a decent crowd - almost all tables occupied- Such a shame they can't get hold of staff that can either be properly trained or experienced...this place we would be one of our "go to"'s if they could! Just opened the indoor space...- we will give it one more try because the food is that good. Had to leave before even thinking about dessert...afraid we would be there another hour!

Without realizing we attended on opening night so the service was a little slow (waited over 45mins for our mains) but the food was delicious. Our waiter was great, just turned out that the kitchen was a little overwhelmed. I’m sure they’ll figure this out and we plan to return!

Food and drinks were great! no complaints. Vibe and environment were also great and the staff was super friendly! look forward to going back soon

The dress code says business casual—it is more like backyard bbq casual. We love the Brass Rail so we had high hopes for the Marker. Seating is uncomfortable and tables too close. I had to send my food back because it was over cooked. By the time the waiter came to check if everything was okay my boyfriend was 1/2 done with his dinner. The waiter took the plate away and came back several minutes later to tell us they would remake my dinner. By then I was “fed up”. I told him not to bother. To make it worse they didn’t remove the charge from the bill.

Jus opened. Need to work out kinks. Appetizers good entree not so so much overcooked Service fine but was rushed. They wanted us out of there

The setting is lovely. The food is just ok - not on a par with the various sister restaurants, to be sure. The warm lobster roll was mediocre and somewhat odd - the lobster was dry and mixed with celery - not typical on a warm roll. Also, there was no melted butter - which you would expect on a warm lobster roll. The salmon tacos were better, the clams were also good. At this point, it is a place to go for a drink on a nice summer evening and maybe an appetizer. I would head somewhere else for dinner.
