We had a delightful dining experience with great sunset views. Before dining in the main dining room, we stopped in the Cove bar area and enjoyed some fun cocktails with our business guests. The chef treated us to a tuna tartare appetizer and we also enjoyed the boudin wontons and Oysters Bienville. The star of the show was undoubtedly the seabass – probably the best seabass at any restaurant hands down. Others at our table also enjoyed the steaks and lobster tails. Service at Mariner’s Restaurant is attentive without being intrusive – and very personal. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and wine list – and were eager to offer recommendations. Mariner’s excels in offering a combination of great food, charming ambiance, and attentive service. Mariner’s is well worth a visit.

Beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere. Sea bass was best I’ve ever had. My husband got the steak Eric it was very good.

Over priced sub par meal. The service was good, felt a little rushed at times. Appetizers were decent. I ordered a filet medium well. It was over cooked and butterflied so it looked like a flat skirt steak. The stuffed potato was dry. The restaurant was beautiful and the view of the river was perfect.

We love the Mariner .. but was so disappointed our last trip because .. we went to eat fried oysters or fried soft shell crabs.. they had no crabs and would not serve a fried oyster dinner even though they offer fried oysters on a $180 seafood tower .. we were very disappointed. !!!

The food here is fabulous. The seafood Eric and Pork Rib-Eye especially. Service is always perfect

The appetizer was very good and my wife’s seafood plate was also good (and a lot of it!). However I was very disappointed in the two grilled lobster tails I had. The seasoning / grilling flavor … which I did not care for … overwhelmed the flavor of the lobster. Not sure exactly how the tails were prepared but they definitely were not worth the $52 price.

It was all very nice except I got the sautéed mushrooms and onion and it was almost all onion and my husband ordered a medium steak and it was pretty charred on the outside but he never likes to complain. Other than that everything was fabulous. Thank you. We would go back again.

Just a great experience from start to finish. Staff was very professional and food was exceptional. We had the Seabass w spinach Madeline and the Shrimp Oscar. Both were fabulous. Wine selection is huge and drinks were very tasty! Will definitely be returning.

The lobster tail was like rubber. The steak was overcooked and the side of crab was terrible.
