   Easter Brunch is always recommended at The Marine Room. Kind of pricey, but always delicious.

   Marissa was outstanding in her service and we love the seats right by the window. The food was great as always. Thanks for a great Easter brunch for our guests.

   First I'd like to preface this with I know this place is expensive and most of the time it's worth the cost - today it was not, and it didn't even come close. We have been to a couple of these "special brunches" over the past year or so, and they always seemed to impress, today the Easter Brunch fell flat on it's face, the $370 plus gratuity for two today just added salt in the wound. The food selection today was subpar and was missing the touch that the Marine Room has had before. Limited seafood this time and it just seemed off, limited accompaniments for the oysters and found ourselves waiting for the buffet to refill when certain items were gone. For comparison on our last visit for a special brunch there was massive tin of Ossetra caviar, crab claws with sauces, shrimp and oysters, today, just shrimp and oysters with some tuna ceviche. Today they offered 8 items a la carte in addition to the buffet style, which we opted for a shashuka and chilequiles (both good, but not even close to the making up for the lack of elevated offerings they had claimed in the promotion of the experience and that we have been accostomed to). Overall, I think this was an unfornate last visit, for us. In no world was this lunch worth anywhere close to $370 plus gratuity ($418) for two people. We could have gone to any other fine dining restaurant in the city and had a better experience for half the price.

   The atmosphere is unbelievable. An ocean view from almost every angle. The staff and food are as wonderful as the location! Our waiter John was outstanding! I highly recommend the dining experience.

   Amazing service and the food was spectacular. The vibes are absolutely stunning and to die for. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in La Jolla!

    This was my third visit to this restaurant, and I have to say—this time, everything was absolutely perfect. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The food was delicious as always, but what truly stood out this time was the service. The waiters were exceptional—attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. They made sure every detail was taken care of without being intrusive, which made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. It’s clear that the team really cares about their guests. I’m so glad we came back, and I’ll definitely be returning again soon. Highly recommend!
