Went for dinner. Menu had many choices. Everything we ordered, from appetizers to salad to entrees & dessert were delicious. Everything was fresh & all desserts are made in house. We will definitely be back!

We are foodies and I understand that the Marina is under new management and they are still trying to figure things out. However the entrees need improvement: Stuffed shrimp with crabmeat (4 pieces of shrimp) was served overcooked and the balsamic drizzle overpowered the crabmeat stuffing. The entree was served with 3 stalks of asparagus and rice. Cost $42: definitely not worth the price. The Sole Mueniere ( 2-small pieces) was served with grilled asparagus, more stalks provided than the stuffed shrimp entree, and scalloped potatoes. However my entree was swimming in the herb lemon butter sauce so it overwhelmed everything. Cost $36: enough said. We did have a Cobb salad and that was probably the best thing. Staff attentive but still learning. The Marina has so much potential especially with all the construction going on nearby and location but for what they are serving- price point don’t match. Unfortunately, we will not be going back anytime soon.

We have been to the Marina Grill numerous times, but this was our first time under new ownership. We read the mostly less favorable reviews, but wanted to try for ourselves. We’ve alway enjoyed the ambience and The Marina Grill as a casual dining experience. But with the new menu and accompanying prices for food and drinks, The Marina at Oceanport is trying to be something it’s not, an upscale dining establishment. Food was good, but overpriced, with small portions. Service was excellent, with the wait staff very attentive.

Everything here was a standout. The service was excellent, the food was great, and it’s a wonderful location. The dessert options are worthy of their own praise. So much better than the standard offerings at most other restaurants.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Great service, very good food. Not happy we were charged $7 for bread that every other restaurant gives for free. Other than that, everything was fine.
