We started with cocktails at the beautiful bar and Kevin the bartender is fantastic!! We then had dinner in the atrium ( which is lovely but would love to try the main dining area next time). Every thing we ate was delicious! The oysters, the Fish Not Chips, the Dover Sole, mint peas and roasted potatoes- all wonderful!! Guermo our waiter was top-notch! We will be back!

We had a fabulous meal, start to finish. Dwayne had great recommendations - the duck wellington and striped bass - both were absolutely fantastic. The duck was super moist and the curry with the bass provided so much flavor without overpowering the fish. We will be back.

We got off to a rough start as our table wasn’t ready at our reservation time, not a big deal except there’s only an oyster bar, not a regular bar area to wait so it was a little awkward for (4) to find a place to wait. The hostess, or maybe manager stopped by, apologized & offered us a free round of drinks & then our table was ready so we didn’t get the drinks. Also no big deal. The food was really good- it’s a rather limited menu, portions are small by Houston standards. The bread service is $12 for 1 tiny slice for each person so that should be fixed as the restaurant works through the kinks of being new on the scene. The wine list, while decent, is $300+ for a bottle so reasonable options could be added. Overall, it’s a beautiful restaurant, nice vibe and the food was very tasty, especially the gulf fish dish! When the bill came, (4) drinks had been removed from our bill. We were super impressed that they kept their word about the initial wait, free drink offer etc - I think this restaurant will work out the kinks and if the food continues to be consistently delicious it will be a Houston winner! I’m excited to try it again in a couple months 👍🏼

Everything was excellent and up to expectation. All Goodnight Hospitality establishments have a high standard of quality and service.

Regrettably, one of the worst “anticipated” restaurant visits in recent memory. The sun glared straight onto one of the seats, no one noticed. There was a screaming child or two, no staff intervened. Wine glasses ran empty so we poured our own glasses the entire dinner and choose not to order another bottle in favor of getting drinks elsewhere. Randomly delivered a side of caviar and then took it back to recycle in the next course (and announced that it would be recycled after sitting on the table for a full course). The bartender shook the shaker bottle with such lack of finesse that multiple tables turned to make sure he was okay every drink. Coursing was unskilled - not clear if it was an issue with the staff or the kitchen the table oscillated between over full or empty for long periods of time. We heard Marigold was in contention for a star, so had high expectations.

It’s a cute boutique artsy place. Very nicely decorated and cozy. A bit unusual ambiance, which brings memories from movies like Hotel Budapest and Poor Things ;-). The only negative is that it’s overpriced for what they serve (both food and especially wines).

It started when we sat down. The table was so close to the booth that we felt like we were pulling the tablecloth off into our laps. The server had a hard time with the drinks that we were ordering and had asked several times did my date want vodka. Even though she said vodka several times. When we did get our food, I had ordered lamb and they did not ask me what temperature I wanted. However, when I got it, it was almost well done. When I asked the waiter why they didn’t ask the temperature, he said that normally they want to make sure that they don’t serve it well done because it takes away the flavor of lamb. I agreed with him and then proceeded to tell him that my lamb was cooked well done. Last, when I got the bill, the bill was $374 before tip. When I gave them my credit card and they brought the receipt. The bill was then $454 before tip. When I asked them why that was they had no idea and it took them almost almost 10 minutes to get it resolved. This place is not worth it and I would not go there again.

New favorite spot! The most amazing dining experience I’ve had so far in Houston. Service was amazing, food was amazing, cocktails were amazing. The interior of The Marigold Club can’t be beat. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful. Their Pink Room was gorgeous and I could not be happier with my experience. They made my last dinner in Houston, before some long travel, unforgettable! I even bought a bottle of their house made hot sauce because WOW, so good! Even the bottle is adorable. Only thing I’m upset about is that I forgot to grab a cute matchbook! 10/10 Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful restaurant. Service was top notch, possibly too good and leaning on the intrusive side. Felt a little pressure when ordering to order more than we needed. Overall a great experience, but definitely an exaggerated price point.
