Our menu is based around Great Local Produce, we use Local suppliers, supporting smaller businesses.

Our ethos is to bring you elevated traditional pub food embracing catch of the day, local meats seasonal vegetables to create daily specials aside from our running menu.

We pride ourselves on serving you homemade, fresh offerings, with a warm friendly greeting.

Also offers a range of Tradition Bar Snacks to enjoy with a real ale or glass of wine. Dog bar snacks are also available, we wouldn't forget them...

Choose from our wide selection of vegetables with Cauliflower Cheese included, not forgetting our 2 stuffings and Yorkshire Puddings.. 4 Plate sizes: Children below 10 £9.95.. Then Small £14.95 one Meat, Regular £19.95 2/3 Meats, and our Large £24.95 all the Meats.. Carvery Service starts at 12.30 but we take bookings from 12 o’clock to allow you time to settle at your table…

Food good but a little expensive, menu choice limited but something to cover everyone. Service was good with cheerful friendly people. The space inside is awkward due to the age of the pub and some of the seating is uncomfortable. Having said that all 5 adults in our party ate well and enjoyed ourselves, we all said we’d be delighted to come again on a future occasion

The food is outstandingly good with wonderful flavours. It's all freshly cooked to perfection. There are lots of seating areas making it a cosy experience and not too noisy.

The first time we had been to the Maltsters Arms and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the portions generous. I had the fish pie which was delicious and HOT which I really appreciate and my husband had a burger which he also enjoyed. We will definitely return!

Party of 3 adults, 3 children and a dog. All enjoyed our experience and all finished with empty plates. My wife, who is a vegetarian, thought the risotto was the best she has ever had and said so, which was related to the chef, who came out and had a discussion her. The staff were very polite and helpful and the whole experience was very enjoyable. Will definitely visit again when we are next in Cornwall.

Excellent lunch with attentive and friendly service. One or two dishes were off the menu but there was a good choice. Dessert special menu was particularly appealing. The only slight criticism was quite a long wait to pay the bill as the server was occupied and her colleague struggled to operate the till. But overall a lovely family lunch.

Yet another delicious meal in a warm and welcoming pub. Friendly staff and great service contribute to a lovely experience. The food was first rate, freshly cooked, hot and delicious. See you again soon!

The Malsters Arms Carvery was recommended to us by local friends and we were not disappointed. Superb food. and very friendly staff. We will definitely be back for more.

Well what can I say? The best carvery I have ever had! Roast lamb which melted in my mouth, fabulous range of vegetables all cooked to perfection! Two different stuffings and pigs in blankets with very good quality sausages and bacon. The service is great, very attentive and friendly staff. What’s more, it’s dog friendly too!

Just wanted to say, we had a meal with you today (17/6/24) to celebrate Father’s Day - we are here on holiday from South Wales. Your carvery was absolutely beautiful - 5*!! My partner isn’t even a big fan of roast dinners and even he said it was one of the best he’s ever tasted. The staff were so, so friendly and super accommodating of our three little dogs. Thank you so much! Highly recommended. Would definitely come back xx

Wednesday night is curry night, with a good choice of dishes served buffet style and worked really well. Excellent quality food, really helpful welcoming staff, would definitely recommend
