We were a bit surprised at how slow the service was, yes it was busy but we where shown our table and that was it, so after sitting there for 25 mins I had to go to the bar to order drinks while there i asked if i could order our meals. But was told no go and sit down and they would be over straight away, yes they came over and said sorry for no one coming over. The rest of the night was perfect, we must say this is the first time we have had to wait that long for service.

We have visited the Malt House on four occasions now and each time we have been given a friendly greeting. All the meals have been tasty and hot and well presented. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

I really enjoy the malthouse however on this occasion I was very surprised that the curry menu had been taken off on Sundays so very disappointed i couldn’t have what I came for. I had fish with chips and mushy peas but the mushy peas were like concrete ! These were changed promptly but shouldn’t have got to the customer tbh

Excellent food and service again , the Malt house is becoming our 1st choice for an Indian meal night.

Ordered our meal, sat and waited, when two tables who arrived after us had their meals delivered we called a waitress over and asked her to chase up our meal. She came back and asked who we placed our order with, after several minutes at the till with one of the supervisors she was sent back to tell us there was a problem with their printer and that our meal had not gone through, our meal would be 10 minutes. Poor girl looked terrified at having to pass on this message. This spoiled what could have been a really good night.

I had eaten here once before and had to return again. The Lamb shank as a roast dinner was excellent. The meat just fell off the bone. Will book thete more often
