Tout nouveau, l'établissement The Majestic avec aux commandes le chef exécutif/propriétaire Gaby Hakman qui propose des menus variés, de saison, énergiques, à base de protéines et de légumes pour le dîner, le souper et le brunch. Hakman a créé une cuisine américaine contemporaine style bistro haut de gamme avec des ingrédients de qualité comme l'huile d'olive, des herbes, de l'ail et d'autres produits qui reflètent son palais méditerranéen. La rôtisserie pour les viandes, et même les légumes, ajoute une saveur profonde et de la variété aux plats signatures. Pouvant accueillir 85 personnes, la salle à manger, récemment rénovée, dispose de cabines intimes dans un cadre confortable et sophistiqué, des tables individuelles face à une banquette haute, ainsi que des fauteuils club modernes dans la salle à manger. Des rénovations ont été faites au niveau des finitions, des accessoires et des meubles. Les murs tout juste cirés à la main sont couverts d'une collection de tableaux, d'objets et d'images intéressantes pour un effet dynamique.

                                                  We had to ask for out server 3 times because he was nowhere to be found. We ordered a dish without bacon and it came with ban on it. One girl in our group had chicken and it wasn’t fully cooked. The manager never came over after we had to send 2 dishes back. I had to ask the waiter to remove the dishes we sent back from the bill. Service was awful. The food wasn’t good and it is extremely loud.

                                                  Our experience at The Majestic was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The fried artichokes were our favorite appetizer. For entrees, I had the scallops which were amazing, loved the corn in the risotto and just the right amount of bacon - sweet and savory. Our server Courtney was great! She was attentive and has a delightful personality. We can’t wait to go back.

                                                  The ambiance of the restaurant is unfortunately lacking, with dim lighting and a somewhat uninviting atmosphere. During my visit, the manager began vacuuming while guests were still dining, even making contact with my foot, which was unpleasant. While the food was fine, it did not justify the overall experience or the price point.

                                                  On a average Saturday night service was particularly slow; it took a few minutes after being seated before the waitress came to our table and another twenty minutes before our drinks were served. We also attempted to order not one, but two different bottles of champagne only to be told they were out of both. They also couldn’t get the lightening adjusted to their liking - darkened, brightened and darkened again.

                                                  Excellent attentive service, long narrow atmospheric space, vibey but small bar in front; get there early to score a seat. Prix fixe restaurant week dinner was solidly competent but not worthy of repeating or recommending except for the delicious fried artichokes. Limp French fries even though requested extra crisp. Pedestrian desserts on the Prix fixe.

                                                  We come to Alexandria for the last 6 years for our anniversary and we always eat at The Majestic. This is the first time that the food was underwhelming! My octopus was slimy , my husbands steak was under cooked and cold. The waitress was very very much accommodating but seemed over worked and we could barely hear her. She did give us a free desert to commemorate our day. Both my husband and I got violently ill a couple of hours after after, we haven’t been able to keep food down since. Not 100 % it was the food but seemed like it
