The main house is so charming!! Our party tried a variety of food. The appetizers we tried were delicious. The sweet savory cheese spread and deviled eggs were so flavorful! We enjoyed the burger, hanger steak, sea bass and dinner special which were all so delicious, served hot and well received our meal at the same time! To top off the meal we tried all three desserts including coconut cream pie, bread pudding and hot chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. We all left the restaurant excited about coming back again!! Sasha our server was fabulous! Thank you chef Chip for the great service and food!!

Great setting. Food was excellent. Perfectly done filet and chicken breast. Server Mattie (sp?) terrific. Will be. Back again and again.

Wonderful dining experience. We tried their specials, a potato soup to start and scallops for our entree.

Loved dining at the Main House. Our server Ashleigh was the best! Very friendly and attentive. Wine and cocktails nice size and very good. Ordered the Hanger steak w chimichuri sauce. Was excellent! Will return soon!!

We dined at Main House during the Festival of the Little Hills. the food was delicious as always but Chips dessert was to die for. A bourbon, peach & blackberry bread pudding. It was a huge serving ‘ I brought home half of it. I think the waiter may have been new because the level of service was ok; not the typical well trained server we have always experienced and have come to expect.

Casual or fine dining, The Main House is appropriate for both. The atmosphere and food are both top notch. Not a good place for children due to the menu/prices. Perfect for celebrations, romantic evenings, or a nice lunch with friends.

Wonderful Sunday Brunch with some creative but tasty items on their special Brunch menu. Friendly, capable server. Lovely table outdoors on a pleasant afternoon.

A real gem in the heart of Old St. Charles!! The menu has all of the staples that just seem to be prepared at a level higher than other restaurants. We tried both the salmon special and the Veal Chop in a vanilla based sauce...wow! The Chef/Owner Chip is always present and fun to talk to about food. Can't wait to go back!!
