Featuring a range of small and large plates we have developed a menu that puts sustainability and seasonality at the heart of the kitchen, ensuring maximum taste and minimum waste.
Working alongside Cooking Sections Climavore project on exciting new dishes, food is utilised to follow the new seasonalities resulting from the climate emergency. Fish is never farmed but line-caught, herbs are from Growing Underground in Clapham where they are grown hydroponically and seaweed features due to its high nutrition, zero irrigation properties.
Even the menu has a story – it's printed on 100% recycled paper made with grass fibres at Frogmore Mill in Hemel Hempstead, on the world's first mechanised paper-making machine dating back to 1895, and still in use today.
Open from 9am for breakfast, then all day dining and drinks.

Gorgeous setting and tasty food are being severely tested now that you have to take your order to the counter. When I returned for coffee and dessert I was told I could have coffee but that the kitchen was so severely stressed they could accept no food order for the next hour +.

While we enjoyed the ambience and beautiful interior, our overall dining experience had some hiccups. We ordered starters, mains, and desserts but received incorrect dishes twice, even ending up with our neighboring guests' desserts. Although the chef visited our table, the conversation was minimal. While the food was average and the service needs improvement, the atmosphere & the location was good.

Spectacular architecturally stunning building by Zara Hadid. Food was a big disappointment and the wait staff seemed poorly trained, other than the manager, who did her best to address a dismal situation. Suggestion: go for coffee and dessert; enjoy the setting. Kensington Garden is a magnificent urban park, with wonderful art galleries, walking paths, etc.

For a place like Magazin near Gallery Serpentine, food should be more gourment and service must be upgraded to a professional level, and not university cantine.

Lovely spacious light surroundings. We should have noted they only serve brunch Tues to Friday and we went on a Sunday. So made do with a coffee and croissant.

Don't waste your time looking for a good quality brunch here. The staff didn't seem bothered with providing good service, there's no freshly squeezed orange juice, items on the menu were not available and the knapkins leave white bits all over your dark clothes. It was mostly empty and souless and we will not be returning.

Servíce is terrible and slow .At least the waiters are friendly and polite . Quality of the food below standards . Location is great and the tables are far apart which is good . Not as exciting as other similar venues .

We ate outside on a beautiful day. I'm not so sure it would have been as nice inside. Very busy and loud in the space
