The best things going for this restaurant are Charles, the chicken dish, and the beautiful setting. The salads are very small for the price, we told them we were going to split the salads and the brought a tiny salad($20) on one plate, other nice restaurants split it for you and I didn’t realize how nice this service was until we didn’t get it here. Charles is attentive and made our evening. The chicken paillard dish we come back for. One person at our table had the duck confit pasta dish and I’m going to try it next time. The corkage fee of $40 a little pricey relative to other Healdsburg restaurants. The setting in the outdoor patio is beautiful

I came with a small group to celebrate a birthday for a friend. We came on a Saturday for brunch and sat on the veranda. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the ambience and service were top notch. We are still talking about how the whole experience being delightful and that we should all do it again soon!

Food was very delicious and ambience excellent. We sat outside as it was a gorgeous day. Unfortunately, the wasp become extremely overwhelming when attempting to eat. They did offer us some fly deterrent kind of contraption that did not deter any wasp !! By the end of our dining experience it became extremely unenjoyable to the point where didn’t want to stay for dessert just wanted to get out of there.. I believe if you choose indoor dining you’ll have a much better experience. The decor is very lovely and the food is really amazing.

There is no other word for this experience than DELIGHTFUL. The ambiance is wonderful. Charlie was a wonderful host, masterful in hospitality. We each loved our food so much. Do not miss the bread with edamame spread (trust me). Terrific wine list and creative cocktails. They even have good mocktails. Make sure to look around at all the art and vintage furniture

From the drive up to the lobby and then the table, ambiance, and food The Madrona was top notch. One of the best restaurants at which I've eaten. Food is both familiar and creative. All our meals were delicious to eat and look at. The surroundings are bucolic. Make sure to take a walk through the vegetable garden.

It’s a beautiful space. We really wanted to dine outdoors and tables were indeed empty there, but we were told they’d been reserved. The music choice didn’t match the ambiance and was loud. But everything else was amazing.

The historic ambient environment was what I enjoyed the most. The food was tasty but I couldn't understand what was on the menu and had to keep asking questions. And was still hungry as the entree was small, so make sure you ask how big a portion it is! I wish there were more gluten free options. :(
