Our family's story in Texas begins on Lymbar Drive where Robert and Dora Cordua moved from Managua, Nicaragua. There, multiple generations and parties with wine, whiskey, rich food, music and chimichurri perfumed the walls. We invite you to experience our heritage, our hospitality and our roots in the city of Houston. We are an all day neighborhood craft cocktail bar and open theatre kitchen specializing in latin and mediterranean small plates and shareables. No rules. Good greenergy. Buenas vibras.

    I enjoyed the experienced at The Lymbar. Our waitress was very attentive and gave excellent service! The food was delicious! We will be back!

    Place seemed to have ran out of a lot of items we ordered but manager was very kind to order replacements for each on the house for the inconvenience. Food was tasteful! Cocktails were great. Will be going back.

    Very nice restaurant with easy parking. Food interesting and reasonably priced for an inner-city restaurant. Service was good. Only issue was that there were a couple tables with loud people who probably had enough to drink. The background noise was significant.

    My only quibble is that the chicken sandwich is barely a chicken tender inside a bun. And for $12. Left us aghast. The beef empanadas, and other dishes we had were super savory that delighted our taste buds. Our server was attentive and quick for lunch.
