    Heater kept going out for prolonged periods of time. Servers did not address the situation. No apology or remediation was offered. Sat in the cold for most of dinner.

    One of my favourite restaurants in all of BC. The pork tomahawk, the lychee cocktail, the lunch lady beer, the garlic noodles. Everything is perfection.

    This was our second time to this restaurant and we ordered totally different dishes that we did on our first visit and EVERYTHING was OUTSTANDING . Every staff member there is engaging ,helpful and knowledgeable and is is evident and really awesome to see that such a young crew is passionate about their working enviroment. When our server described the special we could tell how much he loved the dish which we did order and it and it was the hit. Just so you all know its very hard to get a reservation on weekends during peak hours. As soon as we got home I went to their website to book our next visit and the next available time for a Saturday is Saturday MARCH 8th. Cant wait.

    Booked a month in advance for a birthday dinner. Told we had 1.75hrs only. Space was very cramped with plastic dining chairs, and dirty washrooms. Strong marijuana odour coming in from side door. Felt overdressed for the environment, despite their ask for smart casual. Was hoping the food or waitstaff would make up for things. Was excited about the Michelin star. Spent over $200 trying various appetizers and dishes. While the presentation was lovely, most of the items we tried lacked depth of flavour, with the salmon in tamarind broth winning out. In the rushed end of the time limit, we ordered two tasty desserts, neither was complimentary for the birthday person. Not sure if we will return here as there are several great spots in the same vicinity.

    Very good evening we had with Jessica as our server! Four of us shared the combination dinner for Four which was very tasty & well explained on the prepared dishes which came to our table. A very enjoyable night we had we were all satisfied as to the quality of our meals!

    One of the best places on Commercial. Food here has always been amazing and keeps getting better. The fried rice is the best I have ever had and the bone marrow is my personal favourite. We celebrated our anniversary here and it’s always special to share our milestones at Lunch Lady.

    Food was great! The place is nice and vibes are good. The service was good too, the stool at the high tables gets uncomfortable after awhile.
