Aimee Olexy and Stephen Starr's The Love is a bi-level sanctuary features 150 seats, split between the main dining room, sidewalk seating, and an upper-level loft. The restaurant is a spirited and carefree neighborhood café celebrating everyday American cuisine.     When my husband and I go out for a special occasion, we expect to have good wine/beer and amazing food. The food at Love didn't disappoint!!! We both loved everything we ordered! I drink wine and my husband drinks both wine and beer. He ordered an IPA and the waiter came with a can and poured it for him. He hates canned beer, just as much as I would hate canned wine!! He doesn't complain about bottled beer but would definitely prefer draft. We did discuss this with the manager and she said that they don't have the room to do draft. Ok, but why not have a selection of bottled beer? All they had to order was Miller. In a slightly upscale restaurant one would expect more with in that regard. The service was great, the ambiance was nice and comfortable, and the food was amazing!!! I had the ravioli with poblano sauce, corn, arugula garnish and crunchy bread crumbs with a spice that was delicious! The crunch was just the right texture to make soft ravioli pop. My husband got the garlic noodles with shrimp and lobster and was highly impressed, and he's not easy to impress!! We both had the Arugulala, heirloom tomato and peach salad that was on special. Sooooo good!! We loved Love, but we also love to have great drinks to go along. Would I go back, absolutely when they get a better beer selection in bottles or on draft!! My wine was perfect!!

    First time visiting The Love and I have to say it was very refreshing to see a place hitting all of the marks when it came to not only service but overall hospitality. From the host stand being graceful under pressure to our server, Sam, being super professional, polite, and endearing, to the Manager checking in even when nothing was wrong, we had an over the top experience and we will definitely be returning. Keep up the good work!

    Great brunch with a creative menu and the best biscuits! Impeccable and attentive service. Definitely going back to sample more from the menu.

    Everything was quite quaint and beautiful. The food was delicious and the ambience was cute. We found street parking nearby and there are a lot of cute places around to visit while you’re in the neighborhood.

    Food was pretty mediocre for the price paid. While this establishment has been opened for quite some time, this was my first visit. Not rushing to return. The cocktails were very good, but overall, the experience wasn’t worth the cost.

    We were seated immediately. Nice atmosphere with old building feel. Food was excellent, I had the tuna tartare and shrimp and scallops pasta dinner. Service was attentive and we didn’t wait long between courses and getting drinks. I’d definitely come back again.

    My experience can be expressed as very very wonderful experience and the food was magnificent I mean the food taste so good that it left my eyes crossed. They offer a discount for parking right around the corner from the location I and my guest sat outside and had a wonderful time the servers were perfect.

    Other than the cheese plate, the food was awful. It’s impossible to sit outside with the homeless and the various odors. The restaurant should intervene for customers. It was a very disappointing experience.
