Aimee Olexy and Stephen Starr's The Love is a bi-level sanctuary features 150 seats, split between the main dining room, sidewalk seating, and an upper-level loft. The restaurant is a spirited and carefree neighborhood café celebrating everyday American cuisine. The menu is crafted around what’s truly seasonal and local, while the beverage program reflects the best of the region.     We went for lunch on a Friday with while wedding dress shopping for my niece. I have a lot of challenging dietary restrictions and eating out can be challenging- I had called in advance and left notes in our reservation, and our server was prepared with on-point recommendations, and I had a perfect and delicious meal. I had been concerned because my restrictions often are a bit beyond what restaurants are prepared to handle which can be frustrating, but my experience here was wonderful and I was so appreciative. Everyone else in our group really enjoyed their meals as well, and we had a great experience here overall!

    Fantastic place for some really good comfort food. Great ambiance, a fantastic margarita (or two), and the manager was incredibly kind when my husband was too cold at our table. Not only did he accommodate our change, but brought us an app at the bar while we waited. Seth knows how to manage a restaurant!

    Really great choice in the heart of Rittenhouse Square. Comfy menu and special dessert items. Recommend!

    The staff at the Love were quite efficient and polite. The menu had many choices which we sampled and while the presentation was A+ our party found that 2 of the 3 entrees were fine but certainly not as great as the description led us to hope. We were there on a weeknight and the noise level was only just bearable in our area; further into the dining room it was really loud.

    My friend and I recently had lunch at The Love and it was delicious. We split the tuna crudo appetizer and then both ordered the salmon & sticky rice bowl which was delish! We sat outside - wanted to be in the "fresh" air and it was a very peaceful lunch. Special thank you to our server Laura who was super attentive throughout our entire meal and thank you to Seth for checking in on our table too! I wish I had also gotten the name of the woman who brought us out a delicious complimentary dessert as well. Highly recommend if you are in the neighborhood. This is the second time I've dined at The Love and both times the food was delicious and the service was fabulous.
