Aimee Olexy and Stephen Starr's The Love is a bi-level sanctuary features 150 seats, split between the main dining room, sidewalk seating, and an upper-level loft. The restaurant is a spirited and carefree neighborhood café celebrating everyday American cuisine.     Excellent experience. We had one night in PHL, visiting from NY, love fine dining, and this hit the spot! The shrimp&scallop cacio e pepe and pork chops stole the show! Highly recommend, hope to have the chance to come back!

    ☆☆☆☆☆ Brunch was incredible! The fiid was prepared perfectly Everything was fresh and presentation was lovely!! Service was excellent!! Highly recommend!

    Our waiter was Johnny and he was excellent! The mushroom soup was some of the best I've had, and my choice of the salmon was an unusual dish, and maybe not my most favorite, but very interesting and tasty. My husband got the fried chicken which is a restaurant specialty and it was indeed better than most fried chicken. We enjoyed also the Parkerhouse rolls and the cornbread with their very differently flavored butters.

    We got there shortly after it opened, and they seated us quickly. The restaurant quickly filled up after that. There were a lot of wait staff who were very attentive. We started with two yummy espresso martinis. Our first course was the salads, which were huge! The Caesar and the Beet salads were both delicious. Our main courses were the ravioli and plant power. My husband loved the ravioli! The plant power was a bit too sweet for my liking and was brought out luke warm, not hot. On to dessert, which was the bread pudding for him and this s'mores for me. Rich and delicious on both counts! We left there full and happy!

    Our first visit to The Love was certainly memorable and won’t be our last. We were warmly greeted and seated promptly in a lovely romantic table I had requested as we were celebrating our anniversary. Everyone went out of their way to make the evening special as well as honor my food allergies which can be a challenge. They were gracious about it even on a busy Friday night. The atmosphere is convivial and lively but still intimate. Our meals exceeded expectations! There were really no dishes that were lacking. Our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable and never rushed us through the meal. Overall , this was a wonderful experience and we will recommend The Love to our friends.

    Our first time here. I had the shrimp and scallop entree and my wife had the pork chop dinner, both excellent. For an appetizer we had the charcuterie board, very appealing with our wine choices. We will return.

    We loved it! We got three different items and they were all amazing! This is on the list to come back to! And the service was excellent!

    Ate there last night for our 25th anniversary and couldn't have had a better experience. The hostesses were patient with me wanting to change tables and our servers (Katharine and Michaela) were knowledgeable and friendly. The food was outstanding - my husband said the fried chicken was the best he's ever had and the mushroom soup had a ton of flavor. I enjoyed the tuna crudo (perhaps next time without the a bit too chewy rice paper) and the salmon with sticky rice. The apple tarte tatin was also just the right size after a big meal. Looking forward to going there again.

    I had a great evening with a friend. The restaurant was beautiful, we sat inside. We were there early but restaurant quickly filled up. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The food was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Unfortunately I didn't have room for dessert. Would definitely return again
