Aimee Olexy and Stephen Starr's The Love is a bi-level sanctuary features 150 seats, split between the main dining room, sidewalk seating, and an upper-level loft. The restaurant is a spirited and carefree neighborhood café celebrating everyday American cuisine.     Found this gem while attending a conference in Philly. Great setting, well laid out space. Food, service and ambiance were all wonderful. You weren’t rushed and the attention given to myself and all other patrons was very courteous and friendly by every member of staff, who worked very well together to ensure no one felt ignored or unattended. Well worth a visit.

    We had a great brunch! The drinks were perfect for a summer Sunday as was the food - great selection! Try the lemon poppyseed pancakes 😋

    My request on Open Table for a quiet table was noted by the hostess when we arrived. The upstairs room is beautiful. Everything on the menu sounded & looked yummy; we had a hard time choosing so we went overboard! We shared wonderful muffins & a light, refreshing salad that our server, Weston, recommended. We each had entrees. My shrimp with cheesy grits were perfectly cooked & delicious. Carrot cake & freshly made chocolate chip cookie, both with ice cream were too good to pass up. We're all looking forward to going back!

    upstairs much quieter and able to have a conversation. Weston was a great server and knowledgable about wine list.

    One of the nicest dining experiences we have had- exceptional service and really good food. The fried chicken, hush puppies and cookie skillet were all perfectly prepared. The lemon risotto was outstanding. The space is loud and was fun for people and food watching.

    The food here is phenomenal. I mean good enough that it will surprise you. The service is great as well. I just wish they had a bigger space because it has become very popular and it can tend to get noisy. It’s a little quieter upstairs.

    We had a fantastic meal last night at The Love. The place was packed on a Saturday evening but our server Dylan took amazing care of us, knowing the menu extremely well and anticipating any of our needs. The entire team at The Love did a great job and we absolutely loved the food and atmosphere. Definitely a place you should consider having a meal at.
