A traditional pub serving contemporary English food in the heart of Fitzrovia. The Lore is composed of The Pub on the ground floor, The Kitchen on the first floor and Private room with bar on the top floor.

All of our food is freshly prepared by Head Chef Michal Kaszuba and his brigade in the Lore kitchen on the first floor. Our menus have been created especially to reflect the seasons, when ingredients are at their very best.
Our legendary Sunday roast is slow-cooked with delicious trimmings.

THE PUB
A copper and pewter topped bar serving a range of beers, including our very own Gritchie brews, premium spirits, cocktails and selected wines. The walls are adorned with eclectic and original artwork.

THE KITCHEN
Open plan but still intimate. Experience the sight and sound of our open kitchen with the Chefs cooking on our bespoke, charcoal fuelled oven and char-grill.

THE PRIVATE ROOM
A wonderful private room with private bar on its own floor.

Amazing customer service the staff is so understanding, friendly, caring, polite... Food is good too but I wish I was sat upstairs instead downstairs stairs but apparently it was a private function going on upstairs so I understand the priorities. I love this pub dog friendly too and food is yummy we had traditional Sunday roast lunch and we will be back soon for more food again.

Regulars - local business but didn’t get a great table. Told by a somewhat aloof female member of staff that we only had the table for 1.25 hours? Thats mad. She came back later and said we could have it longer, but I’ve never heard of such a short time. Chicken risotto was a bit soggy.

I recently dined at Lore of the Land in Fitzrovia, London, and it was an outstanding experience. The pub, owned by Guy Ritchie, has a cozy yet stylish atmosphere with its blend of rustic and modern design elements. I started with the venison dish, which was perfectly prepared and full of rich flavors that set the tone for the meal. For my main course, I enjoyed the Wiltshire beef ribeye, which was cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. The menu, crafted by Executive Chef Michal Kaszuba, showcases fresh, locally sourced ingredients with a British twist. The drinks selection is equally impressive, featuring craft beers from Ritchie's Gritchie Brewing Company. Excellent food. Great environment. Nice, welcoming and professional staff. Service became slow as lunch progressed (we needed to ask for our wine on several occasions) and the overall bill was in excess of £100 a head!

Food was amazing, service was great and I loved the atmosphere the only criticism if you would call it that is I wish we had a little more on the plate for the money. Another one or two slices if meat a couple of spuds and another Yorkshire and it would have been perfect
