The Longboard - Sullivan’s Island is the 2nd iteration of The Longboard concept, originally born on St. John [USVI], opened May 2015 in the heart of Cruz Bay. Like the flagship concept, the S.I. location offers light & health fares and creative cocktails inspired by coastal regions around the globe. This location also embraces the rustic, wood-fire cuisine of the group’s other Caribbean locale [The Easterly – St. Thomas], focusing on fresh & local seafood, handcrafted cocktails, and an extensive wine list... all with a Lowcountry focus in mind.

    Beautiful restaurant with great food and service. Hard to find parking, but that's Sullivan's Island. We'll be back!

    This place is way overpriced and our service was terribly slow. The restaurant was not full. Dinner took over 2 hours. We had to flag down the waitress just to get drinks. Food very average and incredibly small portions for price. Save yourself some money and time. Go to one of the other many fabulous restaurants in the area.

    Hi Sarah, Thank you for visiting the Longboard and taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry that you don't feel that you received the highest quality of service or food we offer here. However, we'd appreciate if you reach out to us directly to discuss your experience in detail and clarify any issues. Particularly the comment about the 2 hour dinner service, because based on our reservation system we have you seated at 6:52 p.m. and finished at 8:14 p.m. Which is only 1 hour 22 minutes, in which time you were served 2 rounds of drinks and your 5 entrees. Additionally, we'd like to hear about which dishes had small portions, so we can relay the issue to our kitchen and possibly make adjustments in the future. -The Longboard Team

    Food was cold except the butter shrimp. Service was poor. Never came back after taking our order to offer more drinks. It’s crazy loud even when seated on the outdoor patio

    We were there on a Wednesday during happy hour and it was great. Food was great, great pain killers, great service and great atmosphere. Can't speak for what it is like during the busy time.

    Food, atmosphere was great! Service was OK nothing bad but nothing special. Disappointed in a $4 “convenience” charge not sure what it was for?

    Went here for the first time on Sunday night while visiting Charleston! The restaurant is beautiful and our food and service was amazing. We sat at the bar and had the tuna tartare, pork ribs, scallops, and the salmon! We loved everything!

    The decor and feel was fantastic. We were so excited. They clearly tried very hard to create complex dishes. The result was simply way too many complex tastes. It’s unfortunate because you could tell there was a lot of thought put into the dishes. It was just way too much of everything.

    After leaving the review, we were contacted by the AGM in reference to you our 3/5 rating for the food. The manager asked for an explanation in an effort to make our experience better. Very impressed with the customer service and the willingness to address the issue with my husband’s dinner and make the situation right. We will definitely be going back!
