The Longboard - Sullivan’s Island is the 2nd iteration of The Longboard concept, originally born on St. John [USVI], opened May 2015 in the heart of Cruz Bay. Like the flagship concept, the S.I. location offers light & health fares and creative cocktails inspired by coastal regions around the globe. This location also embraces the rustic, wood-fire cuisine of the group’s other Caribbean locale [The Easterly – St. Thomas], focusing on fresh & local seafood, handcrafted cocktails, and an extensive wine list... all with a Lowcountry focus in mind.

The food was very good, especially the Caribbean Salad (The side salad of this was plenty.). The hostess and servers were all very nice and good at their jobs.

It was my first time, all my friends had said how great it was. The corn salad was very tasty. The “spreads” were good…except the pita was dried and hard. I got the Yellow fin tuna. The sauce was great, the Tuna not so much. It was room temp, and dry. They weren’t busy when we arrived so really no excuse. It certainly wasn’t worth complaining about, but on the other hand I was disappointed. It will be a while before I try them again.

Hi Kathy, thank you for the review and the feedback. We're happy to hear your friends recommended us to you; however we're sorry we did not exceed your expectations. It's nice to hear that your enjoyed the flavors of all your dishes, but we apologize if they weren't served how you would've liked. The "pita" bread is actually our house made naan flat bread, which is toasted and supposed to have a slight crunch. The yellow fin tuna is lightly seared for color and served over gazpacho, and, as such, isn't served hot. We're sorry if this wasn't communicated to you during your visit. We'd like to have you back, and might we suggest our Grilled Salmon, or ask about our Dayboat special, if you're looking for a hot fish dish. -The Longboard Team

Our server was very knowledgeable about drinks and menu items! She directed us in the right direction according to our taste. We were not disappointed! The food was phenomenal! We will definitely be back!

Excellent cocktails!!!! Food was delicious!!!! Service was a little slow and it’s loud if most of the tables are occupied.

Very nice atmosphere paired with friendly service. Our alcoholic drinks were fun and well made. While the Chicken PadTai was a little light on veggies, it was flavorful. My Salmon Poke bowl was delicious. The highlight of the meal would be the Cucumber Salmon Sushi/Rice roll. It’s unlike a traditional sushi roll, in that it’s more like a burrito made with rice paper (it’s hard to explain). It’s unlike anything I have ever had with respect to presentation.

Food was okay. We (8) all ordered at the same time… 7 of us finished our meals and my husband NEVER got his meal.
