The Log Cabin is an upscale restaurant specializing in fine farm-to-table cuisine, specialty cocktails and wines. The historic structure dates back more than 100 years and was once used as a Speakeasy before opening officially as a restaurant in 1933, after the Repeal of Prohibition. Since then, the Log Cabin has become a Lancaster County tradition, playing host to countless birthdays, anniversaries, business events and celebrations of all kinds.

Join sommelier Lynare Sparks for a 2-hour tasting at The Log Cabin Restaurant on Wednesday, August 7th. The tasting includes a selection of 5 wines that pair particularly well with food. Throughout the interactive session, Lynare will discuss the different qualities to look for in a wine when making a pairing and lead an open discussion with guests about the interplay of food & wine. Tastings may be booked at 5pm or 7pm and will be located in the downstairs Speakeasy. In addition to a complementary bread basket, guests are welcome to order food pairings from our 'Tasting Menu'. Join us in the Piano Lounge 6:00pm to 9:30pm every Friday & Saturday night for live music from some of Lancaster County’s best musicians! Enjoy a drink, dessert or small-plate while listening to a mix of Blues, Jazz and American Classics. Walk-ins are welcome! And guests with dinner reservations should feel free to arrive early or stay late to enjoy the music. No cover charge. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Lots of shell fragments in oysters. Our server took care of us, very understanding. We understood it happens, but not fun.

Consistently excellent service and food. Wellfleet oysters were a great appetizer. Steaks are always a good choice so I ordered the 8oz Mocha rubbed ribeye with truffle fries which was fabulous. We ended with the delicious cherry cobbler dessert special. The service is always informative and attentive. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

My wife and I are not foodies with refined palates, but when a restaurant experience as accomplished as the Log Cabin in Leola Pa. takes you another level, you don't have to be. Leslie, the charming hostess treats you like you are a guest in her home. Her love of the restaurant shines through. Evor(sorry if I misspelled), our waiter, was attentive, professional and friendly. He didn't miss a beat. Then there's the food. As I said I am no foodie but ..dang it's good. My wife had the osso bucco it fell apart when touched by her fork and melts in your mouth. The grits and succotash were perfect. I had the salmon oscar: wonderful. The asparagus was tender the couscous risotto excellent. Thank you chef.

The place was quiet but inviting. The service was impeccable, from our waiter to the servers! Our wait time was not long. The food was divine, and so delicious.

We loved our meal. The wait staff was incredible. We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary and they made sure to make it a special night.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE EXPERIENCE AT THE LOG CABIN. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND ORIGINAL. OUR WAITER WAS VERY NICE AND KNOWLEDGABLE. THE HISTORY OF THE LOG CABIN WAS VERY INTERESTING AND THE ARTWORK WAS AN ADDED PLUS.

Our original reservation was for outdoor seating, but because of the threat of storms, we were moved indoors.
