The Log Cabin is an upscale restaurant specializing in fine farm-to-table cuisine, specialty cocktails and wines. The historic structure dates back more than 100 years and was once used as a Speakeasy before opening officially as a restaurant in 1933, after the Repeal of Prohibition. Since then, the Log Cabin has become a Lancaster County tradition, playing host to countless birthdays, anniversaries, business events and celebrations of all kinds.

Join us on Thanksgiving Day from 11am until 3pm for a special holiday prix-fixe meal prepared by Chef Steve Painter. Guests may choose a soup or salad, followed by a traditional turkey main course or a vegetarian option of honey roasted acorn squash. The full menu will be posted on our website under the 'Events' tab. Seating for Thanksgiving is limited and must be booked by phone or OpenTable as early as possible. If anyone in your party is unable to climb stairs, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. We look forward to seeing you!

The tasting includes a lineup of 5 wines selected from Southern Glazer's extensive wine list. Tastings may be booked at 5pm or 7pm and will be located in the downstairs Speakeasy. Murder Mystery at The Log Cabin

Venture 100 years into the past at The Log Cabin as we throw a theatrical banquet set in 1924. During the week of Halloween, our talented group of actors will immerse you in a mystery spurred on by Prohibition paranoia. Guests are encouraged to participate in the event by dining in character and helping our detective solve the who-dun-it. Each guest will be served a 3-course meal, including French Onion Soup or House Salad, followed by an entree of Chicken Piccata, Salmon Fillet (GF) or Portobello Mushroom Wellington (V) Main Entree. The Dessert will be Chef's Choice! Ticketed guests will be sent a menu from which they may pre-order their meal. Enjoy a drink, dessert or small-plate while listening to a mix of Blues, Jazz and American Classics. Walk-ins are welcome! And guests with dinner reservations should feel free to arrive early or stay late to enjoy the music. No cover charge. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

From our cocktails in the bar to our dinner with MJ as our server.. we could not have asked for a more enjoyable evening. Food was superior!

Food was excellent. This was our first time there. We had the salmon Oscar and the pork. Both were over the top. This is clearly one of the best restaurants in Lancaster.

My girlfriend and I went to The Log Cabin for a romantic date night dinner and had a terrific experience. I started with the Harvest Mule to drink and it was delicious. We didn't get any starters because we wanted to save our appetites for entrees. My girlfriend had the barrel cut ribeye and I had the NY strip. Both were cooked to our liking and well-seasoned. The portions were good and we even took some of my girlfriend's truffle fries along home because we couldn't finish them. We capped off our meal by sharing creme brûlée and the apple tart. Both were yummy, but I particularly enjoyed the apple tart. We left with full bellies and happy hearts. After we left, we both talked about how nice our dinner was. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting and we found The Log Cabin to be a perfect choice for a nice dinner out.

Such an excellent experience! My second time there and we brought my parents to dinner for my Mom’s 70th bday. Service, food, ambiance, all excellent! Can’t wait to go back again!

Osso Bucco is fantastic! Rack of lamb was not a typical rack but seemed more like chops..reason to not give 5 star

Overall, excellent meal and service. The pork shank is amazing. Very nice atmosphere in a historic building with an interesting past. It was our first visit and I will look forward to visiting again.

My wonderful wife took me to the Log Cabin to celebrate my 65th birthday. It was exquisite. The food was absolutely masterful; our waiter, Christian, struck the perfect balance between attentive and friendly without being intrusive or too familiar; the ambience was perfect: quiet jazz playing IN THE BACKGROUND, a real wood fire in fireplace and fine antique paintings on the wall. Our hostess greeted us and said goodbye with a professionalism that was remarkable not only because one rarely sees it anymore, but also because of her young age. Even the parking was exceptional. To say we highly recommend it is an understatement. We would encourage anyone desiring a true fine dining experience to go to the Log Cabin.

Our party of 10 had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive after we ordered. Several of us ordered the corn chowder soup and it didn't arrive hot and had to be sent back. After the very long wait for the entrees just about everyone enjoyed their meals. I ordered the lamb chops but I felt they were undercooked and not seasoned well. My husband was looking forward to ordering the log cabin burger but our server it was removed from the menu. What a bummer. He was very disappointed. He really enjoyed it the first time we came.
